**** Yalan, the guy is a ******* bull crap. First he says that he wants to develop a young team but then why is he bringing the 36 year old Bulent Korkmaz? Then he says Hakan Sukur is not in my system but then he brings in Ersin Martin as the same type of striker. This guy is on drugs or something?
The game against greece ended 0-0, I am telling you right here if we had a tall striker not a striker like Serhat but a tall striker like Ersin or Hakan, we could of scored a goal. Think about it how many croses did our wingers provided on that game? Yep Yalan is out Terim is in and hope he will be successful

I think both Fatih Terim and Ersun Yanal has an understanding of football, both has adequate knowledge, and Fatih Terim has a bit more for all of them, and both have some experience.. but at least terim does not lie to people..

So? does it makes sence filling your bench with veterans? Or instead filling it with youngsters. His idea was great trying to build a younger team but read carefully the things that I have explained in my previous post.

What are you on about? Yes he is bringing in a youthful turkish team but there is a proccess to this. It doesn't just occur over night in some miraculas miracle. Bulent korkmaz was brought on to the team because the national team, and all of turkiye lacks good defenders, so bulent is there as a sub, we don't have enough defenders. Versus our goal scorers or attackers which fill the team up. There was a reason for everything he did and you seem too blind to understand this. Bulent was there because yanal doesn't have access to many defenders, defense is turkiye's weakness, versus attackers which is deff. our strength.

You have no evidence that yanal was a bad coach, turkiye is in world cup contention and our destiny is in our own hands, BUT if he failed in making world cup, then you could complain.

Ersun is much more important than a washed up player like sukur.

BTW: Fatih terim screwed up for the last 3 teams he coached, he made a mockery of galatasaray when lucescu was creating wonders.

Seems to me that the team played lately is much younger. Just because he said he's bringing a younger team, doesn't mean every player has to be less than 25 years old or whatever criteria you think it is. Its hilarious, everyone knows if you have a young team you need the odd veteran to help them in big game situations. Having players like Bulent on the bench was almost a mental tactic if anything. Ersun obviously didn't like Hakan much, hence why he only called him up once. If you don't see that the team is younger now, then that brings me to my other question....How do you wake up in the morning....

Fatih Terim has been reappointed coach of Turkey nine years after ending his first spell in charge of the national team.

Tough task
The 52-year-old is reported to have signed a five-year contract and replaces Ersun Yanal, who left the role on Wednesday following a disappointing run of FIFA World Cup qualification results. Turkey are currently seven points adrift of leaders Ukraine in Group 2.

Galatasaray glory
Terim was previously at the Turkish helm between 1993 and 1996, guiding the national team to qualification for the UEFA European Championships in England before resigning. He went on to steer Galatasaray SK to four consecutive Turkish Superleague championships, as well as the UEFA Cup in 2000, and has also enjoyed spells in charge of Serie A clubs AC Milan and ACF Fiorentina.

Listen to me very carefully. Ersun obviously doesn't like Sukur. I think he played him only once in his first ever game at the helm. After that, he was gone. Regardless of who he calls up, whether it is the exact same player as Sukur or whoever, IF he doesn't even play, there is no use argueing why a certain player was called up. Ersen was always a bench player, and never started any games!! So who cares if he called up Ersen!? maybe he thinks Ersen and Hakan are different players, so who knows. I dont know what Ersen's style is, and frankly I could care less because he never played a single game and never affected the team by being called up.

He got called up, and never played, so who cares why or what was the reasoning behind the call up. HE NEVER PLAYED (I'm going to stress this continuously), therefore his vacancy on the pitch still doesn't affect the team positively or negatively. End of story. Your claims that Ersun had lied is based on very shaky reasons.

None of this is about lying, its purely a matter of opinion. Ersun obviously doesn't think that Ersen is the same style player like you guys do, no matter how smart or stupid it sounds to you or anyone.

bros listen, whatsa matta for you. Regardless he still called him. I mean even a bench wormer is very importand, come on now. To be honest he is a very tall striker just like Sukur and they both play the same style. My arguement isn't about Sukur not being called for the NT, my arguement is about Ersun yalan calling the same type of striker, IMO Ersun made a correct decission calling Martin, and I wish he used him against Greece which we needed a tall striker who would of head the ball in or at least trouble the keeper for crying out loud
