You're putting in 5 different players in the lineup, 3 of which aren't even on the team. Alpay, who doesn't play much in Japan because he has diciplinary problems there. Go check yourself, the guy played only half the games this year because of all the red cards he got. So i dont think he's in the form to be in 3 or 4 must win games. I like the Tumer Idea, but i wouldn't be starting him right away. Hakan Sukur should definatley be on the team. Ali Tandoagan? Orhan Ak? are you kidding? Fine they are decent defenders, but you're switching the system back to a bland 4-4-2 formation? And do the skills of the defenders outweigh the skills of the players who play in the mid and up front? I dont think so.Since the team has started to adapt the more attacking football they've been playing in the past matches. Where is Hamit Altintop? Where is Gokdeniz? How could you play Nihat as a winger, as he's been playing as a forward since Sociedad and has been a goal machine since.
Regardless of the coach, this lineup Emre shows is the best we have.

not really cause Serhat and I have the Same sentiments and we are repectively a Fener and Gala fan.
btw. i Think Ergun still has a little bit left in the tank he could play a defensive wing position or something. As for Umit i don't know how he is playing in Germany so i really couldn't say.

I can't understand one thing, he might have lead the way for youth development but there is one thing for sure: HE WAS NOT QUALIFIED ENOUGH FOR MANAGING TURKISH NT.. I really don't know why people can't admit this..

I just don't want our old team again. They were good but it's time we move on.
Sukur should be on the team, but he's not key enough to fire a successful manager who has us in world cup position.
Things were just looking up, alpay on the NT would be a disaster, I doubt terim would bring him back.

I like the young squad Ersun created, BUT he did one big mistake by kicking Hakan Sukur out of the natioal team. If he did not ban him, he would have been the NT coach today. All criticers and the media bashed him for that and for right.
Let's hope Fatih Terim will be the next NT coach. He can bring back life into the team and he will get back Hakan Sukur, the king of turkish football, into the squad.

ya I know yildiray is basturk I juss didn't know if I saw him, so I didn't bother looking back.
Fatih terim is a good coach, but this is a terrible time to bring him in, hakan sukur isn't good enough to fire a coach, at this age on an international level he's only gona score the odd header a goal infront of the net.
It is a poor decision by the TFF either way you look at it.

How can we judge yanal as a mistake. If we didn't qualify for world cup under ersun yanal then we can say it's a mistake. As of now, our world cup contention is in our own hands.
Sukur is no Ronaldo or Henry for example. To say ersun leaving him out of the squad is a mistake is one thing, but to sack him for a decision that hasn't yet proved fatal is a huge error. We're in world cup position right now, like I said our fate is in our own hands. Judge after, not now.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but why are you still so fond of Hakan Sukur. I know he is/was Turkey's big football star, but at international level he has never really cut it, has he? I always enjoy teams/coaches who are not afraid to bring in young players.
The problem with Ersun Yanal is that, he does not have the sufficient quality to manage the national team for me, and he lied to whole Turkey... I don't really care whether Hakan Sukur is in or out, he's no superman to provide miracles... The problem is not Hakan Sukur, the problem is Ersun Yanal himself.. he does not have courage to tell the truth so he does not deserve to be in charge of NT.. agreed??
