YELLOW CARD: Untrustworthy
I should have added the same thing.. It also depends on what stage you have been diagnosed with. Have a grandpa that was diagnosed early with Colon cancer, got aperated one month later and he is moving around like if nothing is wrong... five years later. I also have had two co-workers that passed away after being diagnosed with stage three lung cancer.

So it all depends on what stage you are on, and your health conditions

Get the surgery man, no doubt about it. If unsuccessful, you die at 15. If successful, you live much much longer. Don't get it and you go til what, 18 max? Do it. All the best.

I don't understand how he could die with the operation, unless something unusual happens for eg. the doctor makes a mistake or something. Common, you're dealing with the appendix here, not a vital organ like the heart or the brain. And as far as I know, most people survive up to 5-10 years after diagnosis of carcinoid tumours.

Keep faith Dipanjan and good luck for your recovery. Some people are really unlucky, but you will have to accept it. Be strong and try not to be to pessimist. Get well soon.

Without surgery you clearly don't stand a chance if you have cancer. But have you consulted more than 1 doctor? Maybe he is stupid or something... or maybe he is right...
But if you are just trying to get attention, then it's really bad. You shouldn't joke with this. I dunno, but if I had cancer, I would **** (chit not phuck :D) myself, and I wouldn't even think about seeing Scarlett...
But, hope to see you posting soon...

I'll bust out one of my bi-yearly-ish prayers for you just because you know, can't hurt. And actually somehow might help according to SCIENCE!

As for the joke portion of this post: I mean, you couldn't have gotten a terminal disease in a better country huh? Gee, must be hard to find a doctor in India, but maybe you'll get lucky and be able to seek out the first Indian doctor.

Dude, save your life. Don't live with terminal cancer. You might die which sucks, but you die fighting, you go out like a man. If you don't get the surgery you're dead anyway, you just squeeze out a few more days, months, years of anxiety ridden life.

EDIT: I don't know how wealthy your family is, and I know I couldn't afford to do this if it was me in your situation, but if you have a week to decide, is it possible for you to go visit Old Trafford? This is sort of morbid, but if something goes wrong at least you did #1 on your bucket list.

Dear Friends,

Thank You so much for all your kind posts and well wishes... Thank You!! Right now, I m not in a condition to write anything as I am not feeling well today, but I will still reply for all your posts... I will try and keep updating you all regarding my condition...

Today's morning was a difficult one. I was really in lot of pain today... but its ok, pain is a part and parcel of life.. so no problem!!.... I had my breakfast very early today and took my medicines and I am resting now... but cant live without SGF ... so came here...I didn’t tell my friends here in India about this till yesterday night... but I told you guys first... I don’t know why, but my heart said it…..I felt I should tell u guys first and I just did it!! I really feel connected to this place….

Now I realize the importance of life, I understood what life is...
For me.. Life had never been so beautiful before, pain had never been so enjoyable before, happiness had never been so precious before, family had never been so dear before, friends had never been so supporting before, small little things like eating an ice-cream, playing tic-tac-toe, teasing my sister, fighting with her had never been so important before, but...watching Man Utd play as enjoyable, tempting as before and always...!!!

Operation? Yes guys... I am going for it. I know its tooo risky, but I will !After all, its death this way also and that way also......"It is better to loose trying something new, rather than just loosing ..." so I thought its better to die trying to live, rather than just dying... So I have decided I will go for it!! It’s going to be in India, here in Kolkata I guess!! Could also take place in Delhi….Will be confirmed within a day or two…Not sure, they don’t tell me anything... And then I will be fine hopefully….and will be with you guys once again.....Don’t know you guys will accept me or not….

Made me laugh.

Anyway, get well buddy, from all your friends in the SG Jewish Community, we wish you a swift recovery.

Thanks Man. Are you the only member of that community, though.

Nady;2680433 said:
I think you should definitely undergo surgery. That's a cancer, you cannot leave it there otherwise it might spread to other organs and that will only aggravate things. You should get it removed as soon as possible and follow their treatment. Don't worry about the operation. Everything will go fine unless something unusual happens in the OT.

Thanks bro. Am going for it, as i said. OT =Operation Theatre or Old Trafford? I'd rather have the wrong at the Operation Theatre than at Old Trafford.

When I read the first part I thought you found a girlfriend or something. I thought it's the only reason why people leave SG though. Nevertheless, I can't believe you're that sick. None of SG members have died before. You can't be first. Get well soon to see how Manchester United gets relegated from the Premiership.( Y )

PS. I can't pray for you because God doesn't exist.

I surely won't be the first. I do have a Girlfriend.....But haven't informed about this yet....Shes holidaying in US, and don't wanna worry her....

Hey man, don't worry.

India has the cheapest and amongst the best cancer treatments available. And a stomach cancer should not be fatal, if removed successfully.

My mom had breast cancer and is perfectly fine now, and she was 60. I think you are in calcutta. Not sure if they have good centers for cancer treatment such as the Tata memorial hospital in Mumbai, but am sure you could come to Mumbai if the doctor's recommend.

Get your family to act soon. Do mail me if you need any contacts in Mumbai.

Get well soon...

Thanks Bro, for those words of encouragement...... They have got Apollo Hospital...where i wud be probably treated at....But we also are looking at Batra Hospital in Delhi...Yes, Tata could also be helpful....Will surely contact you for any help needed in Mumbai...

Not really, your posts are simply too inviting for sarcasm therefore you get mocked a bit but it's all good. Seriously, almost every member on this forum had to get through an "acceptance" period and you're no different dude. Thing is most of us evolved into not posting retarded sh't and you're still on a row in that department.
Like this thread, wtf is this supposed to make me feel, remorseful?
Give me a ******* break, in case what you said is even remotely true all the drama you've poured onto it was largely expendable and turned what could and should have been a sober, heartfelt post into a mini soap-opera episode.

Having said that, I sincerely hope you get well.
And try to seek consolation amongst your family plus flesh-and-bone friends since they're the only ones that can give you a real hug. All you can get here are sympathetic yet empty words of advice. The people who truly love you and can actually help you are out there near you.

Sorry for the harsh words but I am only trying to give you a reality check.

You be in my situation mate. You will probably understand. For a 16 year old to take it, is like....Anyways, The phones have been ringing since the news got out......Just feeling too tired to talk with any one of them....

Thanks....Anyways...:)

Dipanjan,

I'll pray for you and your family, that God may lead you to the right decision regarding the operation, that he may comfort you and all those who love you and care about you, and that he will not allow you to perish at such a young age. I've seen bigger miracles in this life, and I am confident you'll be alright.

If I were you, I'd find a New Testament and read it from start to finish. It certainly can't hurt. If you need help understanding something, let me know. (Actually, it's probably better if you find a minister who didn't get his theology degree from a fictitious university, but if you can't, I'm here for you.)

Thanks a lot for those kind words....These are the most touching words....I also do hope I'll be fine man....yes, I already have all the testaments, the Bhagvad gita...and also the kuran...Plan to read it all up...

I know people who have survived cancer and I knew people who died from cancer. If you are lucky you will live through if you aren't than you aren't living through. It all depends what stage of cancer you have. My cousin's husband died from liver cancer although he never drank or smoked. My aunt died from ovarian cancer i think. My uncle survived intestinal cancer and my other aunt has lung cancer and she never smoked. So I don't want to give you any false hopes but my best wishes is with you.

Thanks Anuj bro....I am probably in Stage 3 or sumthing like that...This is all I heard them say....

There is none, kind of the point. I have to say, I really don't believe you for one second. This sounds just like the sort of thing someone pathetic in need of attention would do, actually, it's a condition, hypochondria, and I'm pretty sure that won't make you friends. But, if you are telling the truth, I wish you well, I really do, no one your age should die of cancer.

But yeah, you're probably full of it. Oh, and careful with the postboosting. You'd only be giving Horatiu a reason to card you. It'd be a shame to get cancer and get banned at the same time.
