i could of sworne the last person who wore that shirt was cruyff and it was retired when he left farca. maybe i got it wrong.

Never retired, worn by a lot of players, and it wasn't the number of Cruyff at Barça, since he was a starter the numbers available for them back then in Spain went from 1 to 11

Cruyff wore 9 most of the time at Barcelona, although I think later on he wore 14 a few times...

At Ajax, he started out with 9, but then was out with an injury and came back and took 14 instead because 9 was being used. (gotta love Wikipedia :funny
