I remember in the army when we had our cooper test in the end. It was December. 7AM. Around 25 minus celsius, and 10cm of snow. Fun times.

I've always enjoyed running in the winter though, as long as it's not too cold and slippy.

How did it work?
I got a fantastic outcome. I noticed the first effects after just few days; after 42 days the result is brilliant and I'm thinking about continuing it. I'm skinny so it's easier for me to see the results though. Here's an advice; do not skip exercises even if you feel tired.

Did you do anything else?

I do the push-ups all the time and lately, I got back to swimming which is for me the best way of keeping good shape. I also plan to attend to the gym once a week, I'm just waiting for October to start.

Yeah swimming is definitely great. I prefer it to just going to a gym because at least to me swimming is more fun. I tried gym for a year but being there jogging in the same place or pushing up weights staring at a mirror isn't really my thing.

I guess I should try this too. I'm skinny as well, so results should come easy. Need to start some more consistent workout plan, as I don't think I'll be able to play floorball as much as I used to. Need to go out running, etc on my own much more.

I have a question.

My metabolism doesn't let me be a fat person(which is good) but it also doesn't let me gain some extra kilos in any way. I've tried to eat more than I usually do but it didn't work. So my question is-do you guys have any diet on mind that would help me out? I know, proteins FTW but I'm thinking of a real diet with schedule and described types of meal I should eat etc. I do not want any chemical boosters to be included in this diet or anything like that.

Think I should rename this thread to The Workout Thread.

I was being serious man! I'm not saying go all Supersize Me and that, not even saying specifically McDonalds, but gaining weight shouldn't be a problem with the amount of stuff you're able to find out there. And please, one Big Mac every once in a while isn't that bad for you!

You wouldn't talk like if you knew my health problem. There are also other things that I can't eat but let's stick to the topic, right? Just to let you all know, I do not have a cancer, I'm not alergic to any kind of food.

Not an expert on this, but I'd say eating often, lots of protein and pasta/etc. Also suggest having some recovery drinks after working out. Food + working out = muscle mass.

Oh! I thought you meant that kind of food is generally bad for everyone, my bad dude.

Jabo's right, carbon hydrates will help. Basically what you want to do is increase your calories consumption. So go for the products that have the highest amount of them (and as long as you can eat them!)

For some diet plan for gaining mass you will need pretty amount of money to expend in order to fully follow that.

If you don't wan to use supplements, then you must eat food which is rich of proteins, such as chicken, fish, milk, cheese, cereals and integral bread...

It's hard to find diet plan that don't include supplements, and I guess that you don't want to turn pro.

When I was doing P90X, every morning I was eating oat flakes with milk. It's very high protein meal and best way to star the day. For lunch I ate chicken or fish, and for dinner milk and cheese, low fat cheese.

I managed to follow plan carefully for about 50 days, cause it's very hard, especially financially. In the beginning I was motivated, but over time it was getting harder and harder.

Work regularly with weights, heavy weights. For gaining mass it's the best to use weight which you can lift 8-10 times in one seria. So, use heavier weights and eat as much proteins rich food as you can and you can't miss it, bro. I dont know any good diet plan that dont include supplements, but starting with cereals is good start.

And don't forget that dinner is very important, cause muscles are growing when they are resting, and that is why dinner and meal before sleeping is important. Just dont get yourself overload and then after 5 minutes go in bed. ;)

Thanks a lot guys and especially Waldo. Can I use yoghurt/buttermilk and dairy products instead of milk itself? I'm not allowed to drink milk in its basic form.
