Sorry man, I probably didn't make myself clear. The 'two' games was related to two specific attributes I was testing at the time. The other attributes I've been turning off and on for players over the course of about 30 or more games to see what affects what in the game if anything. Things I've noticed are that unless control related stats are all in the 90's, all players seem to have this pathetic first touch at times. I think that's just built in just like the catch up thing with defenders of 60 speed catching up with Henry.
The stat numbers definitely seem to have an effect once you shifted them by about 15-20 but the attributes I've started going through 1 by 1 turning them all on for one team and all off for another and then reversing it playing 2 10 minute games. I managed to get through 5 new attributes today and I've got a couple of buddies testing some of the others. The penalty save attribute was bizarre as I did 9 or 10 penalty shootouts with the shooters having penalty scoring all on and then all off but the results for the human and CPU seemed to be the same either way (i.e. like the attributes made no difference) and the same went for the goalkeeper having PK saving ability.
I really just think that a lot of these attributes are very minor in their effect compared to the stats and their effect. Like with the dribble. CPU players don't seem to try to dribble more with it on than off that I've experienced. What matters is whether the stats give that player more potential to be successful at dribbling.
Maybe this is all part of Konami's equalization factor (e.g. slow players catching up with fast players, etc.) that ultimately, unless there's a wide difference in stats between players, in any given game there's no guarantee a player will shoot on target or miss, a player will pass more accurately or screw up. It seems that Konami may add 5 invisible stats points on for an attribute or maybe even 10 but in reality, that's not a big enough addition to really change the gameplay noticeably for a player. The high rated players can't go any higher than 99 for an attribute anyway.
So, I wouldn't worry too much if we can't get these mystery attributes allocated exactly. For the most part they seem allocated correctly but there are bizarre pop-ups like some goalkeepers having penalty scoring ability. In reality though, how much is that gonna change the gameplay???
The side, position attributes I tried to concentrate on individual players to see what these attributes changed. Really couldn't see any difference at all.
The important thing is the stat numbers that have been changed. It's these which will make the gameplay more realistic in taking away Konamis "boosted" stats for 80% of players in the game which is the most unrealistic thing possible as I've discussed before. It might result in you being able to win the Premiership quite easily with Norwich City on level 5 when you get half decent at the game but it's just not realistic. There's no reason why Van Nistelrooy, Henry or Ronaldo should be able to be completely contained by 99% of the defenders/midfield players in the game with no special consideration to their excellent abilities. If I play against Ronaldo or Henry, I should have to make some kind of tactical allowance to cope with him, not be able to treat him with the same disregard as AZ or St-Etiennes offensive units.

I think you can say that it won't affect the gameplay if you see the sourcecode of pes4.
After i played a couple of games with the version 2 of the new optionfile, i found also that the "First touch" was not good on a lot of players. And also that sometimes the players makes strange movements.
I hope that all the (positive) comments here will result in an almost perfect and realistic optionfile.
Keep on the good work Wolf !
