EditPES4OptionFile v0.95 is available and is the first version to support FM databases.

This version also lets you visualise the original stats from the database so you can compare with the conversion's result.

That's awesome, but if you could inlcude the original stats from the game too and the ability to change to either FM or PES stats that would be even awesome...er,or something :D

Another great feature would be the ability to import formations/rosters or player stats/appearnces from another option file. That way we can send player/roster/formation stuff to wolf with a single option file...

kschoice, I found a bug :)

I was trying to go through the teams and match all the player with the FM database, and I noticed that a few players get different stats everytime I click on import stats. Here's one of them so you can test:

Joni Saarinen (21/12/1985, Finland, FC International)

I noticed his stats on CM are a lot of 0s ... Also Forsell (Finland, Chelsea) has marking =0 on CM so his Defence on PES is also random.

(Finland is as as I've gone so far :) )

It would be real helpful if the first player on the list of uknown players is the one that's on the same team on FM2005 as on PES4. And also , it would be great if we could see the player's main position on the drop down list

paulie, I already told you you don't have to tell your point twice in an attempt to make it seem stronger.

I have no plans on doing that, cause I don't know where I would take the original stats, as I don't want to include the original option file in my program.

That is due to the fact that 0s are randomly replaced by average marks on conversion, as they seem to be there for stats the creators had no info on. It wasn't noticeable on former versions cause the conversion was a one-time process on creation of the cache.
Now that I display the CM stats in the editor, the conversion is only made when you click on Import stats, thus those randomly generated may change each time you click.

I'd be glad not to use random values, but would you rather have poor stats when players have lots of 0s ?

If your interested there is an up-to-date
FM database as of Jan. 10th. Its made by
cmsorted, I have used their database in the past while playing CM/FM and overall I have been pleased with their work.

Thnaks man, I was going to be using that until Yannick (Kschoice) made the program compatable with FM2005 so I'm now using that.

Well I downloaded the FMsorted update and extracted the people_db.dat and server_db.dat to the EditPES folder but on loading it says CM4 cm data found....but so i cannot convert and stats

how can i get it to load the fm database which i extracted??

FM sorted did work for me.
Try putting the PESOption Program in its own subdirectory and extract FMsorted in to that directory.
Let us know what happens.
