Well I sure as hell can't wait until I get GolTV, because TLN is retarted. Didn't they know that once RAI Int'l started showing games for us that they wouldn't be able to? I thought that was all worked out and the only reason they allowed RAI to broadcast in Canada. Anyways I'm glad TLN decided to show Inter/Treviso (even though TLN's massive scoreboard takes up the whole screen, and it was over GolTV's). Gotta feel sorry for the Milan people watching on RAI and then the game cutting out and changing to Inter

Great win for the side, good hattrick by Adriano. Even though the side didn't play its best, they still got the job done really well. I was especially impressed by Pizarro when he came on, he immediately brought things back to life. Figo was alright, and the rest of the side did it's job. Hopefully the team continues to improve but the scoreline can stay the same.

Let's just say that the final scoreline didn't really reflect too much on his overall performance and that he saved them from a double digit score margin loss.


If they're to stay up this season (which I believe is possible....even after just one game), I feel that he'll play a major role in that accomplishment.

You bring up a great point here, bro. One that I didn't even take into consideration. I think the bigwigs at either channel will definitely deball and clamp down on Conan and his staff when they move down in time slot. It's an inevitable fact that it'll occur. Hopefully, he'll take some risks still and delve into other areas of free-form comedy. It's all about the randomness, man. They won't take that from 'em. I also hope that he replaces Letterman since he looks up to him a lot and is close friends with 'em (well, about as close a friend as someone can get to be with Letterman). He can learn a lot from him interms of being more gutsy and defiant in the face of censorship by the head-honchos, man.

Another thing that could also negatively affect his show that I forgot to add. Some of Conan's funniest monologue stuff is when hes bashing on the most popular celebs (britney spears, aguiler, jess simpson etc..), and he can pretty much get away with it because hes on the 1230 timeslot, so theyd never appear. Being in the earlier timeslot, and being the 'main late night show', those type of celebs will have no choice to appear, so Conan may have to hold back............. but he can still easily make fun of C list celebs like Star Jones, Kirstie Alley, Paris Hilton and Ruben Studdard (or their 2009 equivalent)

Kimmel and Corolla I love a lot. They should get back together in some form or another. They're always on the Stern Show and are just ******* hilarious, man. If you ever heard Corolla & Dr. Drew, that Los Angeles based radio talkshow that deals with sex and general health awareness, you'd find a greater appreciation for his comedic talents. The two of 'em, more so Adam, though, are so quick-witted and hilariously frank you're just left in amazement, man.

My thing with these guys is this, theyre outstanding when theyre on a cable show like 'the Man Show' and such, but when theyre restricted on ABC, their comedy takes a hit (especially Kimmel). Youre referring to Loveline right? Ive never heard it before (:/)

Well folks, week one of the Serie A is in the books, and sadly the biggest impression left on me was TLN BRUTAL showing this weekend.

Just to recap, they were planning to show this schedule of games this weekend:

Saturday: Fiorentina - Sampdoria live - 230

Sunday: Milan - Ascoli live - 900
Fiorentina - Sampdoria repeat - 11 (dont ask)
Juve - Chievo live - 230

now, this is what they showed instead:

Saturday - 2:30 : Ronaldinho 11 Vs Shevchenko 11 charity all star game from 8 months ago

Sunday - 9-920 : first 20 minutes of Fio-Samp
920-11: Inter - Treviso
230-430: Milan-Ascoli (which they started 20 minutes in)

all that garbage wasnt enough though, TLN felt they needed to sabotage the weekend entirely, just for jokes. During the Milan-Ascoli game (on tape delay), just after the second half begins, without warning the show the final score of the game THEY ARE CURRENTLY SHOWING!!! And they couldnt even screw that up right, they put the final score as 0-0, but showed the time of both goals and who scored.

Going away to University next week, so this is one of the few weekends of Serie A ill get to see on TV this season, and this happens. Now if youll all excuse me, im gonna set myself on fire.

some random thoughts from this weekend

- I cant say this anymore times, I hate Chievo with a passion. They play the worst football of any team in Europe. They cant be relegated sooner, but sadly they probably have enough to stay up

- Im gonna miss Adriano when he leaves this summer

- decided to play poker instead of pro-line yesterday. All my picks had already won, but luckily Milans draw prevented me from gouging my eyes out

- Cassano was an unused sub, and Chiellini and Mutu werent even on the bench. the facts speak for themselves

- Im gonna miss Adriano when he leaves this summer

- Pazzini will get a call for full NT by January if yesterdays performance is anything to go by

- It may only be week one, but Alf De Blasis was in midseason form with todays phenomenol emotionless robotic performance.

- it may be early, but that Cafe Gioue (SP?) commerical (where he appears on field and gives a player a cup of coffee which energizes him) is the stuff legends are made of

- Im gonna miss Adriano when he leaves this summer
