I feel bad for the Montreal guys who had their hopes up. I was planning to go their for games, and than dominate at Supersex and other stuff la belle province has to offer :)

Hey Forza, I gotta question. Overall, how much did you spend on trip to NYC last summer? tell me everything you can about it, like hotel and bus costs etc..

I stayed 5 min from the stadium at a hotel that costed 120 american/night (and that was cheap :|) Tickets I had were almost exactly what I had in Toronto. Midfield, 200 level, which were 100 american i think. The stadium parking was amazing, probably 30 acres of concrete to park and 100 exits. After the game when 70000 people left the stadium at the same time, we were back at our hotel in less than 10 min (Y).

After that we took a bus in to NYC and saw Times Square and all that, which you can just walk around there. Bus was like 3 bucks i think, but they are coach buses lol.

Overall it wasn't as expensive a trip as we thought

Brocchi can ride the bench at Fiorentina as well. If they make the signings i think they will , hes not good enough. Although has looked decent in 3 times hes played for Milan the past 4 years

Ya, ive been looking for an excuse to go to NYC anyways. Catch a taping of Conan, Emeril and Tony Danza. We'll cram 5 people into a room, so it wont be so bad. Did you go by bus or drive? how much was that? Overall, minus the game ticket, how much would you say you spent overall?

We arrived friday, saturday was the game, and then we left sunday. In all I think we spent a little over $600 USD, excluding the ticket prices. We drove down. I'm not sure how much a bus would cost. The area where we stayed had absolutely nothing to do. Good thing Times Square is only a 20 min bus ride away. And I am telling you. DO NOT drive into NYC from NJ. There are 10000000000000 cars and taxis on the roads. Take a bus, and walk up the strip, you won't regret it.

$600 USD each? Thats kinda dodgy. Overall, would you say it was a good experience and worth the money and effort? Hows Giants Stadium compared to Skydome?

santino, what are you talking about?

600$ for all 3 of us. It was a great game, although 80% of the stadium were Manchester fans. I was surprised, but the atmosphere alltogether was fantastic. Especially when Dida saved Tim Howard's penalty to win the game for Milan :) Well worth it, especially if Milan will bring their full squad again. Stadium is much more compact and narrow, Not as wide and round as the Rogers Centre, so you feel as if you are right on top of the players (Y)

^^Tomorrow, 2nd leg Parma/Bologna

Anyway, look at this ****

Genoa officials charged
by Nadia Carminati - created on 17 Jun 2005

GenoaGenoa president Enrico Preziosi, his son Matteo and the club's general director Eugenio Capozucca have been charged by a Genoese court for sport fraud.

The decision has been taken after evidence was heard in connection to an inquiry regarding Genoa's last two games of last season.

Matches against Piacenza and Venezia, crucial games in the club's promotion campaign, were investigated - with the club's officials having now been found guilty.

A Venezia official was found with €250,000 on the eve of the match with Serse Cosmi's side.

The official involved claimed that the money was for an account for market operations but the jury of the case have failed to concur with this version of events.

The Italian Football Federation will now open an official inquiry, whereby Genoa could be handed severe penalties.

A large fine is likely to be handed out and in a worse-case-scenario, the club may see their promotion to Serie A annulled.

Congrats santino, too bad we got it at the end of the season.

about Genoa, oh man, what a shame. I was looking forward to the return of another 'classic' team. Do you think they'll just promote the two winners of the playoffs going on right now and cancel the final?

(by the way, Perugia and Torino both won their first legs against Ascoli and Treviso away)

yeah torino :rockman:
i want those granata bitches back in serie A so that we could kick their asses again :hump:

and mikey, i was talking to my dad about the same problem just now. and like you said, if genoa doesnt get the promotion, perugia and torino will go to serie A (or the teams that reach the playoff final)
and in that final, torino only needs 2 ties and they are through to serie A :)
