Mutu next week. Jankulovski soon after.... a defender after that and Juve are set (Y)

One thing to remember is that Juve regardless of wat happens on transfer market, juve has the best coach in Italy at the helm. Who knows, maybe Legrottaglie can be the dominant centre back Juve lacked last season. Maybe Zebina will stop making all his mistakes, well i doubt that.

Juve could use another CB but after seeing Montero play in the Copa I was quite surprised with his performance. He was the best defender in the copa by far. His discipline and pace are questionable so another CB would be perfect for Juve.

AC Milan are trying to sign Maxi Lopez after he impressed in the Amerstadam tournament but if the sale goes through he will still remain at River to gain more experience.:)

well all the papers that i looked at it, say he was a Cagliari player. Although i entered to the Cagliari web page and i didn't find his name on the squad. So i guess you're right. Anyway the price was 800,000 which i honestly think is too much.

Ohh and Milan will repeat :mrpimp:

www.tenfieldigital.com.uy Look at the pictures, he's training with Nacional in Montevideo today;) The transfer fell through.

Anyways, ive been following Serie A for a long time, and ive never looked forward to a season so much. Theres so much teams that interest me and id like to see.

I agree, this season looks great. Especially Zola coming back and if Baggio were to return then this would be possibly the best ever for me.

Rompipalle: ballbreaker

have any of you seen the current Lazio team for next season??

Squad List

that team is thin as hell. and half the players are born in 1986. Wat happend to Lazio??? They have surely they have to sign another 6 or so players. And in addition, of that list Cesar and Oddo could very well leave, although both could be swap deals. If Juve offers Iuliano and Birindelli straight up for Oddo, they should take it. And for Cesar, they should get Coco and a midfielder. I hope Inter loans a few of their 86 man roster to Lazio, cause things aren't looking good. And its not like they have a coach like Del Neri (should fire Lolito tommorow and pick him up) or Mancini, instead they have an unproven coach. Last season they were playing in CL, this season they could be fighting to avoid relegation. At least with Parma they have a great youth system that provides serie A ready players. whos the last Lazio player to come out of their youth system? I mentioned Lazio as Uefa cup contenders, but in this shape, mid table looks like a more likely finish.

Actually Robert Baggio is considering going back to Fiorentina if my memory serves me correctly.

Modena star Diomansy Kamara will sign for Atletico Madrid over the weekend, while Samp snap up Fausto Rossini.

The Senegal-born striker had been a target for several big clubs following a couple of good seasons with the recently relegated Canarini, including Milan and Tottenham.

Spaniards Atletico Madrid entered negotiations with his club over the last few days and have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Kamara for £2.5m. An official announcement from the 24-year-old is expected over the weekend.

Another deal has officially been completed in Serie A, as Sampdoria have taken Fausto Rossini on a one-year loan spell.

26-year-old centre-forward Rossini spent the last seven seasons at Atalanta, but Samp will have the option to buy half his contract in July 2005.

Atletico fans, let me tell yah.....this signing is a Goddamn bargain. Kamara has got the physique, speed and vision of Henry with a poorer first touch, but he makes that up for his liveliness on the pitch and his heading ability.

Anyway, anyone have any news relating to Jay Bothroyd? Will he remain at Perugia in the second dvision, or will he be sold soon (I hope)? The kid deserves better....maybe Palermo will purchase him..hmmzer

On paper the strongest squad is either Inter or Milan. Juve needs to sign a CB, then i reckon they're going to be a pain in the ass this season. I'm keen on watching Fiorentina play this year, they signed some good players.

If Juventus get Jankulovski and Mutu they will be very strong and if Roma get Gilardino we are going to have a close season

I hope it stays very close between like 5 teams, I just hate huge 10 point gaps between the 1st and 2nd teams
