If real madrid win, you still wont be on top, Lyon have yet to be scored on with a goal differential of +9, and real madrid has a GD of +6, you need to beat lyon by 2 or more, good luck with that.

If Madrid win 2-0 will be:

Lyon +7
Madrid +8

But what about 3-1 or 4-2, its that valid for Real Madrid ?

Well, at least it's 1-2 now. Diarra just scored. Lyon is just one of those teams that's a pain in the a$$ to us. We may still win it. Who knows? Either way we're aready through to the next round.

It's impossible now to end 1st in the group, but I still have faith in the victory.

It seems Helguera is injured since min 1 and Cannavaro is not fully recovered from his injury :S Otherwise I cannot explain such a defensive weakness.

Reyes is dissapointing one more time. Oh and the referee is being sh!tty for us.

i was hoping Carlos would take it. seeing how important it was to score it. (N)
anyways, we should be happy with 2-2. strong of the team to come back from 0-2.

it think its better to play 2nd leg of 1/8 finals away for us. we are much better at away games then at Bernabéu with all the pressure. so i dont mind finishing 2nd.

yeah, dubious penalty but still Ruud missed a sitter.
i thought Raul would take it.
Robinho and Reyes were not themselves today, Lyon defenders were too tough to break down.
Our midfield reallly needs another playmaker (hmmm....like Gago!) to cover for Guti in situations like this.
Cassano was not really anywhere after coming on for Emerson.
yeah Carew was......exceptional today, and seeing as he is the tallest on the field i thought they would lob more crosses into him, especially over R.Carlos and Cannavaro. His footwork was 1st class!
At least we scored on them, now Bayern are the only team not to concede a goal.

Any picks for the draw? Who will we play next leg?
