wrong, he has the making of a typical 7, at river he plays as a 7 and sometimes as a right winger (typical 8 with awesome workrate, he won't defend he's not like Coudet, but he's an attacking machine)

damn it i had a feeling i was going to be wrong i really hoped he would be a centre forward thats what we really need right now, just think what would happen if ruud gets injured we are ****ed biasacally.

but by the goals ive seen of him he should be a centre forward because they were quality.

Yes, the kid would have few minutes in the first team either way, so it's a good way for him to get some 1st division experience.

worry not :D , he can play there too, cuz i've seen him playing there at river, thing is i've seen him even more as a 7 and on the right wing

Higuain can play as a striker or like a second striker...

For example, in River he played with Farias and Falcao, both pure 9, and he also played with Ortega and Montenegro, both, second striker...

He has an amazing talent, but he lacks the killer instinct of a pure 9...

He isnt ready to play for Real Madrid, he isnt ready to play in Europe...but who can say NO to Real Madrid...

looks like Marcelo will go to Racing Santander from Jan till the rest of the season. Why not just blood him in at Real? surely if Cichinho can do it Marcelo can!?

If Higuian chooses Argentinean nationality over French will that mean he will take a non-Euro spot?
(i'm not sure what the whole deal is with him choosing, i thought he was French but apparently he is yet to make a choice???! if anyone could shed some light on the situation, it would be much appreciated)

If he stayed in madrid he may not get as much playing time at the moment, so its better to loan him out so ge can get used to the new style of play. Just like Face said.

Puskas, thank you for helping forge the legend that is Real Madrid. As great as DiStefano & Co. were we wouldn't be the Real Madrid the world knows us by today if you didn't defect from Hungary and show up at our doorstep. But most importantly, thank you for showing the whole world how beautiful football is. All those that had the great privilege of watching you surely will never forget those images. I've only seen clips and heard stories from my father but the records speak for themselves. A million thanks.....RIP

thats not gona happen because capello wants roberto, i think he should stay at castilla for the rest of the season rather then go to racing, its not just about football its other thing like the language his family have to get setelled in etc etc, we have to remeber he is only 18 and he has just signed for real madrid, the best thing right now is to give him some stability and then next year we can bring him in to the first team.

I still dont understand why Real is so interested in Higuain, he is very talented, but still very young and unexpirienced...

Gago on the other hand, played the last year and a half as a the central midfielder in Boca...and i think he is ready for europe...
