I really like the way the team playerd today, though at first I thought the team was going to lose with that weird lineup. At the end, it resulted a defeat would have been way to harsh.

I can't stand out any of our players in a negative way (Y) Baptista did very good, Cicinho too (today he was more brave with the one vs one duels), Ronnie struggled...

The ref deserves a mention apart.. at least 2 uncalled penalties and 2 unexistant offsides that would have leave alone Ronnie and Baptista respectively.

Playing this way it's hard we won't be 2nd at the end of the season.

Yah, im sure sven would be awesome. I mean who wouldnt want to play like a tactically rigid Italian side in one of the most wide open leaugues in the world? Im sure the press confrences where everything he says, basically, says nothing will translate well too.

(I dont even think the eye rolling is necesscary)

Whoever you get, you should tell Del Bosque to come back as an assistant: the job he did man managing, as Socrates said, was impressive, but I bet he would come back in a reduced role considering his lack of a job now that Perez is history

Well there was talk about him, Hierro, and Camacho coming back...but none of them as managers instead other positions in the club. Latest rumor is that Hiddink will be the new coach. Hiddink said he has decided who he will go to and will annouce it in one month and Martin will not tell who the manager is yet either...hmmm interesting how they both came out so close. Well he is better than the other choices although he was here before and it was not that great so:chew:

The game, I only saw the first half and it did not look so great. Next game vs Depor....and they have a better away record than a home one this year:( We got some tough games coming up and if we dont play very well we could be out of Europe for next season:O:( Its very possible we still have to play Depor, Barca, Osasuna, Villarreal, and Sevilla. We are only 9 points ahead of the 8th place team.

I am glad they did not lost again to Zaragoza. The goal for Ronaldo will do him good, but they will not finish 2nd if they continue to play like today.

FINALLY Ronaldo!
Not a bad one either (H)

When aked if that was the "shut your mouth" gol, Ronaldo said that he doesnt play to shut up anyone's mouth. He plays for his family his team, himself...etc...etc.... Thats freakin class. He also said that he'll ignore the few fans that are out to provoke him during games in the bernabeu... I think Ronaldo has been dropping hints that he wouldnt mind staying.... given that Madrid's only gol in 4 games came from him, I think the club can make room for him. Even if its on the bench, which he has had no problem sitting.

It all comes down to his WC performance. If he does well, i doubt he's staying as there will be a lot of people interested and Madrid fans arent too fond of him. I would like to see him in the EPL.

Well I did not see the goal but good for us that we got a 1-1. Good for Ronaldo that he scored too but lets not forget this season just because of that goal. I hope the board do not think that just because so players are doing ok right now means they can stay next season. ( This applies to everyone, not just Ronaldo )

Paulo Da Silva, I dont see Chelsea much but do they play a on the ground type passing game?? If not I doubt Ronaldo will fix it and I doubt Mourinho would like to work with Ronaldo.

Not to be an ass, but nobody really wants Ronaldo at Stamford Bridge. Ballack, while the same age, seems to have the competitive fire still burning bright. Ronaldo seems lime he would be even lazier at a club without Madrid's history, and content to be fat and take his paycheck. Personally, I hope he can find the passion again, but his career is fading fast

In any event, what I can propose to you is something in regards to defenders. Firstly, would you all want either Carvalho or Del Horno, and secondly, how much would you pay for them? I have a suspicion that at least the second one will be moved, and to me Madrid makes the most sense as a destination

Don’t want to bring you all down to earth…

1 goal by Ronaldo, a lucky draw for Madrid and everything is allright again ? “Ronies back” - Madrid’s back etc…

Ffs everybody is reacting like RM crushed them 6-1 and played outstanding football.

---

as for Del Horno - he's not a good defender from what I've seen from him at Chelsea. I'm sure there are better Spanish Defenders that can play LB around.

Yea I was going to say I dont think most Chelsea fans will be happy with him going there.

TBH I want Gallas...:(.

BB - I dont think anyone is thinking that, infact if you look earlier I posted that we might drop a good amount of points because of the hard games and the crappy way we play, its very easy for us to lose and no Ronaldo is not back. Its just more of a relief that we didnt lose and I dont think we played so great either.

Was just reading Marca and they an article where Parreira where is talking about Dida, Cafú, Robert Carlos, Ronaldo and Adriano and he says I dont think these players are doing that well because they are saving themselves for the world cup....one of those guys needs to tell Perreria to keep his mouth shut.

At least Perreria is honest in what he says to a certain degree.

Well Actually isn't Cafu injuried ?

Ronaldo on form can make any striker in the World look like a schoolboy, period. I'm not biased, and you all know it's true. The problem is, he barely looks motivated nowadays.

It's true that the brazillians players have great passion when they play for Brazil and especially in a WC.Ronaldo is one of them who want to give his all this summer.
