everyone misses a "few"...

true, he should have taken a better penalty, but given his recent form, criticism, lack of form, and alleged state of mind, is anyone surprised at how lame it was? he shouldn't have even been taking it.

He misses penalties since his Barça days. Sorry but Ronaldo is a mediocre penalty taker. Want a good PK taker? Watch Lampard.

I would say Capello or Hittzfeld.

Capello sounds like the safest coach but I already talked about him eariler plus I dont agree with the players he wants to bring in.

I read a differnet article and they asked him if the coach was Hierro and/or Cappelo? He said no.

did i say he was a great penalty taker? all i'm saying is that everyone misses penalties.

in fact, i said he shouldn't have even taken that penalty.

True, but he has an habit of it. I'm discussing the fact that he shouldnt have taken the penalty because of his inability at taking penalties, not because of his morale/psychological condition.

i think Diogo should start against R. Betis. he's 10x better then Gravesen in passing and he makes great tackles. altho, some of them are pretty dangerous.

but hes definitely better as DM then Tommy is.

and about the new coach. i think it will be.....

imo, he would fit Madrid's style of play more then Capello. Capello likes to close down games too much. like have 2-0 and then defend the rest. that doesnt fit the Bérnabeu crowd. they want attractive football with lots of attacking. that's why i think Ancelotti is the better man for the job. :)

or am i wrong?

something about penalty taking...
there is no relationship between a great player and a great penalty taker...
this is just about the player's courage...
ronaldo missed that pk... its true... but maybe he is the only one in Real Madrid to take these responsibilities...
ronaldo is the the best striker in the world...
everyone who critices him should suffer a serious knee injury... thats it...

hahahhahahaahahahaaha

Anyway about Ancelotti...I dont know much about him so we need some Milan fans opinion of him. Rony does not think much of him though.

I strongly advice all Madridistas to watch the movie "Goal". i bought it 2 days ago and i just finished watching it. and all i can say is, it's the best soccer movie ever made!!
i dont wanna spoil anything, but it's about a poor mexican kid who plays amateur soccer in a Los Angeles team. 1 day a old Newcastle player discovers him and encourage him to go to Newcastle and try out for the B-team. Beckham, Zidane and Raúl. they're all in this film, among many other soccer stars.

Just watch it!! i promise you, it will move you several times. :)

in Goal 2 he plays for Real Madrid! i cant wait for that to come out! :rockman:

i guess it could be that when Becks was injured against Valencia, our attack on the right wing looked much more fast and dangerous. unlike Becks, Cicinho is a player that challenge the opponent and does alot of dribbling. atleast i think so.

just a thought.

That would be the right argument but I thought Cicinho was poor.

BTW was reading on Marca and Ronaldo had to leave training eariler...he injured himself by tripping over a CONE???:| Yes a ******* cone. They also said that Ronaldo socred 0 goals and didnt look sharp while Cassano got 5, Raul got 4, and Baptista got 4. I feel sorry for Cassano. :( Also says Casillas picked up a minor injury and RC did not arrive on time for training because of flight problems.

Also after R. Garcia's match vs Barca it further proves that we need to buy him, he is only 19 and already a very complete player. I would love it if we had a Cesc-R. Garcia partnership :jambo:

When is the next game - Sunday ?

Becks was performing average recently but I don' think he was as bad as Marca points out imo.

a cone ?! wtf :| just as he fell over the ball once...(the gif must be somewhere in those 614 sites)

I don't like Italian Managers (not that they can't do their job) but mostly it's always a "negative" tactic, score 1 and build walls-type of thing.

What do you think about one of those ?

Scolari
Hiddink
Hitzfeld
Martin Jol

ThAt would coooool. S.Ramos (who turns 20 in 2 weeks), R.Garcia is 19, and Cesc turns 19 in like 2 months...now imagine all them playing at Madrid.

:lui:

--------------Casillas--------------
-------S.Ramos-----???????--------
-Cicinho-------------------???????-
---------R.Garcia--Fabregas-------

:(...(H) though.

Except Ramos should be RB ( yeah back to his natural position ) and two new defenders should come ( Woody is too injury prone ). Cicinho cant defend ( as I said when he first came :jambo: ) Plus for backup buy Gago :O They are all so young yet so good. LB for next season seems to be A. Cole or atleast thats what everyone and the papers have been saying.

BB From that list I would maybe choose Hiddink.

BTW it seems like one of Martin's top targets is Diarra from Lyon.

Cicinho can defend, just give him more matches there. I still rate him over Salgado, and he must play as RB, no more Right Attacking Midfielder please!

BTW AS suggest we're interested in Diarra :) Good news indeed.
