i remember he said in an interview that he would never turn down Real Madrid.
we can wait 1 year for Ramos imo. the dream would be if we got both, but Florentino would never do that.

hmm - hope we've signed him ! otherwise RM should go after Campbell, King, Van Buyten.

Ronaldo = starter if he doesn't f*ck up
Owen = will "fight" it out with Robinho
Raul = will "fight" it out with Zidane
Robinho = will fight" it out with Owen (he probably will get rested at the beginning, since he had training-free days, and games with Santos)
Baptista = will play as a LM
Guti = will be a sub and "play" midfielder
Soldado = should be the reserve striker in the team
Portillo = he's not good enough

I still hope Mickey stays, it would benefit for the whole team. We wouldn't have to worry about injuries and suspensions upfront, we could always bring on a great striker if needed, we can rotate much so the players get less tired. competition never did any harm for the performances.

How much would lugano cost??

We should just get him and Ramos this year. Than that would be 4 great CB's :brow: :bouncy: But i know that wont happen.

With Ramos, we could make a great deal, or a bad deal. If he comes to Real, he might fail. But if he stays at Sevilla, and has a great year, his price will only go up. Not that money is a problem, but also other teams would get interested in him next year. We have the chance now...
And getting Lugano would be great. We would be packed then :D.

I have seen lugano play a few times and i say that he would be a great buy but i feel that Ramos needs to be the primary target for us. And Drvar you are right we need to get Ramos now and hope that he will be great for us. If we do wait he may be unavailable next summer. And if he does not work out then we could always sell him to Inter next Summer :D
