Madrid need to balance the midfield. That is the only problem I see. The defense is alright the offense produces, but the midfield loses WAY TOO MUCH possesion and never does anything!

The right side is covered well by Figo, but the left side is let empty! Zidane plays left, but he's not a winger, so its left to RC to run down the wing, but he cant do that fast enough like a winger who is already positioned there could. When Zidane runs with the ball he's good, but most of the time he's screwing around with bad passes, and passbacks. If the Madrid team could run an offense it would be most effective with the left side covered by Figo, the right covered by Becks, the Middle by Zidane, and having 2 fowards who can still dribble the ball up the field.

he said that he just now signed a new contract with real madrid and he says it wouldnt be right to leave the club. his new contract is until july of 2008.


he also said that he is not going to play until his injury is good and he is 100% ready to play.

Maybe Madrid need to offload a striker to create more funds for a newer generation. Their midfield is pitiful, whether they like to face up to it. Beckham has been crap, Zidane and Figo are too old, Guti isn't really a player they should rely on.

But Ronaldo would probably not want to go to Milan anyway.
