I dont know why too, There are some good players out there that are playing well in their teams, like Pedro Mendes, Ruben Amorim... and he choose players like Boa Morte that yesterday was useless... and 4 keepers? For me, Eduardo shouldn't be in the first squad and he proved that yesterday.

Portugal has Portugal by 1 point. Nice catch. I haven't been up to date with them but I think its due to the fact that Peter is no where near form since the beat down in Euro Cup and Rosicky is not playing but excuse excuses. Someone should step up.

actually I would have to say that wasn't a good one now after thinking about it. They are missing half their starting lineup due to suspension and they have been missing their biggest threat in Rosicky so no... Portugal and Mexico are worst.

I dont like Duda. He's way too slow, the Danish team always played by his side.

You can say everything about Ronaldo, but yesterday he was one of who suffered the most. It's obvious in his face that he isn't in his best mental condition, in Real Madrid too. But one thing that i think everyone saw was Ronaldo suffering because of the result.

Exactly what I thought and I expected Liedson could be in Portugal. They were unlucky.
Portugal could be the victim of recent WC history if this keeps going.
But I thought something different.

We know that group 9 has 5 teams so it would be unfair to count the point of 2nd place team in group. So in group 1 to 8, the point and the match result from the worst team will be removed in counting.

Now more easier to catch. Luckily next two matches are vs Hungary. According to recent forms and opponents, it won't be hard to catch Hungary if they play like this match. Sweden also has easy schedule except the match against Denmark in away.
Thinking the match in Euro 2004 (Denmark v Sweden) which they drew by 2-2 (United? :S) and eliminated Italy (after 2-2 played very peaceful) :redface:

So it isn't that terrible but still possibility for WC is low.

I have a feeling that both Sweden and Portugal (One fails on playoff) could eliminate and it is shame to not see Messi (?), Zlatan and Ronaldo in World Cup :blush:

I think English people will be very happy if Portugal don't qualify for the World Cup after what happened in a last WC and Euro.

It's very hard right now but there are still 9 points for the grab.
