I think Cristiano should be used in Euro and start most games. He'd do very well. I doubt he will but I don't see why he shouldnt. He's had a great season and I think would be able to compete NOW at International level. Im only English and see him every week in the Premiership. But I know talent when I see it.

I donno what the Portugese think?

I like him a lot, but, as you should know, the starters are Simao and Figo which are really hard to take the place from... Ronaldo is great for counter-attack, and so, a great option, along with Boa Morte, for those kind of plays... I guess it's all up to Scolari

Cristiano should be started simply for the threat he possesses to other defenders....sure he loses the ball some of the times and has some off crosses, but on the whole, his good qualities outweigh his bad ones.


the flair, the speed with which he uses to scare and exploit opposing defence, the reputation that he carries of being an unrestrained young punk who shows off others.....that plays into the minds of opposing defenders, man. Trust me, they'll be cowaring and making silly mistakes all because of him.....great asset to have, man

Ronaldo will be good for the 2nd half when the opposing defenders are starting to get tired.

Dunno if I wouldn't start him, I think he's too young to be starting and playing 90m every game of an Euro Championship. This is a tournament with a zero f*ckup margin and if he loses the ball in a dangerous position it can be our doom.

i don't think i would start him... i would play him on the 2nd half of the first match, and according to his exibition and confidence i would consider making him starter in the following match...
