Now you (FCP fans) don't need to go back 7 years to talk about BPaixão, you've found yourselves a new excuse.

But I reckon that we were a little lucky, overall FCP was a bit better, not much nevertheless. Maybe extra-time, or even PK's, were more suitable.

I'm just gonna agree with your last couple of sentences there because if you think that mentioning a fact is giving an excuse, you're a complete moron.

BPaixão was one of the guys who robbed the most Sporting in the last years. We don't need to remember the match against Boavista 3 years ago when Rui Jorge was sent off for saying nothing, do we?

Still, I have to admit, clear penalty there, and Sporting had the luck of the match. Whatever, first cup on the bag, and great goal from Izmailov! The rest is history. =)

A Sport Lisboa e Benfica – Futebol, SAD, ao abrigo da alínea i) do Artigo 3º do Regulamento da CMVM nº 4/2004, informa que recebeu uma proposta do Everton Football Club para aquisição de 50% dos direitos económicos que detém do atleta Manuel Henrique Tavares Fernandes.

O Conselho de Administração da Sport Lisboa e Benfica – Futebol, SAD, equaciona agora ou a aceitação da proposta do Everton ou, em alternativa, vir a adquirir os 50% dos direitos económicos que não pertencem à Sociedade.

Para a decisão sobre esta matéria, será determinante a vontade do jogador.

it's amazing, at least we won. Santos lost one of the key players just the day before, so i must admit it was a good result. Things will only get better. But don't expect a brilliant performance this weekend to Leixões ;)

To be fair Leixões didn't deserve to lose. It's really unbelievable how we let that one in in the dying minutes of the game though.

Even without Simão that's not even an excuse when you can't do a single decent attacking play. I'm afraid big part of this must be blamed on FS. And LFV, everyone is already sick of him and his constant appeals "it's next year, I won't sell, etc."

I honestly haven't seen Benfica playing this bad in a while. Even when we had Argel and JMP and those players. :rolleyes:
