Anyway I've been a supporter of Makaay since he became a great striker at Deportivo la Coruna unfortunatly he was always 'discriminated' by the coaches.

Yeah, there was a brief discussion during Euro 2004 about whether we should play the Dutch way or just make sure to win. Van Basten absolutely plays the Dutch way, very offensive. little emphasis on defending. Germany is the total opposite. Emphasis on defending (thank God for Kahn, right?) and winning by one goal. How you play is not important for you guys. Which is why you sucked in Portugal this year

Why not? We're a bit below the likes of Brazil, Argentina or Italy (Spain, England, Holland = underachievers ).

With homeground advantage we should be a contender, the fans should make that up.

Our team is really getting better. No more Wörns, Bobic, Hamann and all those old scrubs.
