Well, you're the one bitchin' and moaning about how the free kick wasn't fair play, the game was boring, Vidic doesn't have the right to fall down after he has been pushed, blah blah blah. As mentioned before, what did you expect Giggs to do, ask each Lille player if they were ready for the free kick and set up the wall for them? Giggs didn't break any rules by taking the free kick. Hell, if Ronaldo took the fast fk and scored, would you still be complaining? Dude, let it go!

As for the disallowed goal, Vidic was pushed from behind causing him to fall down while he was trying to defend the ball. When he fell down as a result of that push, he missed the ball and the Lille forward scored. But because that goal resulted from player interference, it was disallowed.
Same thing happened in the Euro '04 quarterfinal when John Terry obstructed Ricardo. Simple enough for you to understand???

And as for the formal complaint from Lille, If I were A representant of UEFA I would show them a tape of the crowd trouble caused by their supporters and Tell them to Shut the F*ck Up.

END RANT

If I was Lille, I would prepare for the next match. As for the goal, it's not as if Giggs did it for the first time. He did it against West Brom in the shambolic 1-1 draw at Old Trafford two seasons ago. Lille didn't do their homework.
Agree!
we won,now let's look forward!

just been watching the news on ITV (uk) and apparently the Freench are saying it was drunken English fans causing the problems at the game, and the police did everyhting correcvtly. looks like theyre desperatly trying to cover their own backs, considering it waws obvious from the tv it wasnt drunks but over crowding and rough house policing that was to blame.
They also intervied Rens' ground owner who was more pissed off at the fact that his ground had been damaged than the fact that yet again stadium cages and poor policing nearly lead to yet another disaster. you think theyd ban cages on the continent considering theyve been outlawed here for the best part of 20 years.

also lille have offcially complained to uefa about the goal, no doubt thjey'll get something out of it given the president of uefa is one french man platini. frankly if uefa has balls they should fine them for the poor sportsmanship and ban them because of the crowd problems.

no it f*cking wasn't and you know it but even if it was that doesn't make up for the fact that I stood by my opinion and you were implying last night that I was in some Anti-United crusade.

Oh, so you prolly know better than me what i meant? Ok next time i will try to explain my every comment much more clearer, to avoid having somebody question me two years after i wrote it.

But sorry about calling you United-hater, i was mostly referring to Paulo Da Silva, and we both know that he just hates United and England, he said it himself. If you always had that opinion then fine i wouldn't know and i won't call you anti-united, but don't tell me what i implied either because i prolly know better, ok?

would be an absolute farce if the protest is upheld...

Anyone watch the Barca - liverpool match. I was actually cheering on Liverpool :nape: I forgot how dirty barca are. Adding triple helix rolls to everything.

They really need to do something about diving, making me feel sick every bloody game. I'm sure Video replays will put a stop to it, well its not so much the diving, but the girly acting.

If they dont like contact sports, and cry about every little tap they can go play netball with the girls.

(Y)

Excellent player. Would be an asset to any club. He really is the full package in a MF. Going forward and tracking back, good passer, decent shot. Basically great all around player.

ROFL, it just gets better from Lille. At this rate, they will end up just filling a report to UEFA to be awarded the CL trophy for 06/07 season.

so now press are linking us with a big money move for samuel eto in the summer. anyhoo lille should start worrying about the return leg and not trying to get a replay. i mean ole scored a legit goal against reading on the weekend and it was called offside, should we complain to the fa and get that goal? whats done is done, lets focus on fulham.

hey hey i may hate United a little (not because of the club just some players and i have my reasons) but i defiately dont hate England, just the mentality some fans (not all just some) have about how the english way of soccer is the way to go, cuz it is classy, right, etc, etc.... Oh and just call me Paulo or Paul no need to wriet my whole name out lol

I really dont think hed be suited for the premier league. Hes not a very physical player and kind of slow for the fast paced game that the premiership offers. Definatly do NOT invest in this player. Hes suited for La Liga, Serie A not the Premiership. Plus you have a similar player in Carrick already. Howvere, he likes to keep things simple and is a great leader (already Portos captain after less than two years). Give him a shot i guess he is a CLASS player and who knows may fit in well in Enlgand. Plus he belives he can succeed in England as he as stated he would LOVE to play there. To conclude, hes ONE HELL OF A PLAYER and Porto will ask for A ****LOAD OF MONEY, something along the line of what you offered for Carrick, plus Chelsea have shown interest through Mourinho.

Why dont you guys have a look at Manual Fernandes and Pedro Mendes. They both have adpated very well to the Premiership. Mendes was awesome at Tottenham until his injury and the coaching change and has been a monster for Portsmouth this year. Manuel Fernandes is also very young (20 years old) and has also adapted extremely well to the Premier league. He is on loan at Everton, but Benfica are asking 9-10 million euros , WHICH IS A ****IN STEAL IF YOU ASK ME. Some portuguese players to stay away from are Joao Moutinho (extremely overrated) and Nani (to similar to Ronaldo, plus he seems like an asshole especially after what he said today in court) Simao would also be a good signing (around 15-20 million euros) Him on one wing and Ronaldo on the other = dominance. One with his tricks and speed the other wing with simple, fast and consistant soccer.

Two must buys are Fernandes and Simao.

Dont listen to idiots like Viana, he sucks balls. Real and Barca would be horrible moves for Ronaldo. He needs to stay at Man U as he is the center of attention and we all know how pretty boys like him love that sort of ****. At Barca he would be sorrounded by world Stars that are continously fighting for glory and surrounded by absolute **** at Real. Ronaldo's not an idiot and will stay especvially after all the adversity he went through at the beginning of the year.

he pretty much said it was ridiculous that he was being paid so little when he is one of the most important players on the team, whcih is not true as hes been playing absolute **** for 3 months now. It was like he was using the fact that he earns too little for why he left his former agent illegally and for why he took the mercedes as a bribe.

Where are the reports of Sammy Etoo being linked with us? That should be interesting. We were linked with Fernandes and Simao in the past but the price tag on those two, especially Fernandes, kinda puts off our Management.I heard we can only go big with a young English star like how we alledgely bidded 10 Million Pounds for Gareth Bale.Either that or a proven superstar.I guess the management is tired of buying potentials.
