Ronaldo got an assist. Had park finished his chance he would have got another. Had Solano not cleared his header off the line he would have got a goal, people need to stop exaggerating.

Just one of those days, we have to move on, still 16 games left, and IF Chelsea lose tommorow then today's result could be just enough to extend our lead, I hope Villa win tommorow. Our defence is slacking lately, we are in a good position to win the title, it would be a waste if we lost our lead

Help?

Well well well....

Newcastle deserve it. **** performance. Their worst performance of the season perhaps? Crap defending, crap ball retention, crap finishing. Lucky it was only Newcastle really. Could have been worse.
Ok, from now on, if you don't feel to confident, you are NOT ALLOWED to post here, infact don't even go to SG until the game is over.

I hope Fergie is happy that his favourite player got 75 minutes because if Carrick started, those goals would have never happened or atleast they wouldn't have mattered much.
At the start of the game Fletcher wasn't controlling it to get the team going, after Milner goal the team at least woke up and scored 2, but then against after Scholes' second, we tried to get a third but there was no real support or control from midfield and Newcastle's second was on the cards any moment then.

What i didn't like though, is that after Edgar's goal the team still didn't try hard, most of the players were still walking like we were winning 2-2. It was a case of 2 points dropped then a point won. With so many chances and shots, Newcastle should have never been given a chance.

And David friging EDGAR!!!!! I remember him, he used to play for my town/city with a few friends of mine and i didn't know that he was even playing until the 65th minute when the commentator mention my city, and then 5 minutes later :nape: :nape: . Couldn't pick another team to score against?

You missed the biggest assessment:
Fletcher - unbelievably ****

Chelsea not winning tomorrow is VERY VERY unlikely, infact more unlikely then us losing today. They know that we dropped points where we shouldn't and this will give them the edge to win it at Villa.

Great/good game lads. A bit of luck involved in Edgar's equaliser, but think we deserved that bit of luck. Even after that the last ten minutes didnt make for comfortable watching, Solano's save off the line being the pick of the bunch.

I'm actually hoping this result won't hinder your title hopes... don't think it will to be honest.

Chelsea are definitely winning tomorrow, Villa won't have a chance without Gareth Barry. and they're in bad form.

wow, slight exaggeration there...

Well, yeah maybe Nick. But in truth, most players were fairly poor. Park was useless in possession most of the time, Ronaldo had an off game, as did Rooney, Giggs was wasteful, Scholes was probably the best player on the pitch. Edgar only got MOTM for his goal. I think Carrick was missed. Perhaps Park should have been taken off for Carrick, and push Fletch on the right - I thought he played okay.

Not a good performance by any stretch of the imagination. It took Newcastle to score a goal to get United to up the tempo, which could be a bit of a concern. Although Newcastle were lucky. I'm sure Larsson will be quite happy at what he saw today, chances were created. I'm sure he'll score a few.

I don't think it's going to be THAT easy for Chelsea. Who would have thought that reading would score two goals at SB? Who would have thought Fulham would take points off them?

I think Villa definitely have a decent chance of taking points off Chelsea, they'll be fired up.

Man anyone can get an assist, compared from the last 3 games hi game today was poor. I think Fergie should to save him from further fvckin up his form.

The team didn't play well, how can you single out Ronaldo who despite not havin a game of his standard peformed better than, lets say 8 of our other players, single them out. Compared to his last 3 games everyone is off form.

Aye, that's what happens with players like Ronaldo who are constantly trying to create opportunities out of thin air. Some days it just won't work for you.

If we can lose to West Ham then I can't see why Villa couldn't get points off Chelsea especially in home. Everything is possible. Plus Chelsea isn't in a good form either when having 2 draws straight in home.

all in all i would say the team looked tired. we have come through the worst part of the season and i think we have done very well. now that it is over the lads can have a little rest and get ready for the next game.
