Dont think we can recall those on season long loans..not without the agreement of both clubs. Recalling Dioufy even then, wouldnt be the best thing for both parties, as current circumstances go.

I think Owen wanted to leave, he was constantly complaining about contracts. He became a bit of a prima-donna towards the end of the his Liverpool time.
