Toni Kroos is a mediocre player. He doesn't deserve as much money as true Bayern stars like Muller and Gotze. Good riddance to him at Real Madrid.

Like to give a big ol' fuck you to everyone who said and thought this. This includes members of the FC Bayern board like Rummenigge and Sammer. Uli was in jail. I don't think that was a coincidence.

HOLY FUCK! thats one for the history books
Sums up both Mandzukic's goal, and Madrid's dismantling of Juventus for a historic title defence.

Zidane, that midfield, and Cristiano Ronaldo. Wow. :clap:

Juventus looked completely gassed by the 60th minute. It was really shocking to see. Bayern had injuries, but couldn't go on past 90 minutes against Madrid either. I'm curious if Zidane has just trained the most supremely athletic and fit team that has ever existed.

Oh and tits.
Remember reading Benitez saying Zizou trains them like how they train in Italy with lots of running which makes Juve's break down more weirder. They were running far too hard in the first half though you could tell.

Yeah, you are right. Kovacic James Isco Asensio Lucas are no better than Gomes Denis Rafinha Arda

Carvajal = Roberto and Aleix

man for man their squad is no better than yours

What?

Dude, they won half of 2017 league games playing with their 2nd XI. Their depth on every spot is amzing (maybe excluding left-back where the options are Coentrao and Nacho). They have a 2nd or 3rd very good option on absolute every spot. I'm not gonna go and compare that with our squad because it's not worth the time. And everything is because of the huge difference in how both clubs have been managed after 2011.

Oh, and I forgot about Marcelo, who has been their best player with Modric. Yeah, these 2 are worse than Rakitic and Alba who can't controll a ball anymore.

have you guys noticed that you have Messi, Suarez and Neymar? on paper those three and infinitely better than Ronaldo/benzema/bale(or isco )

then you have busquets, who is certainly no worse than casemeiro, pique, certainly no worse than ramos, ter stegan who is clearly better than navas, etc etc.

Your problem is that a) yes you bought some garbage for your 'depth players' (but NOT first team) and b) your bad preparation and management across the season meant you couldn't keep your (better) superstars fit and sharp like Madrid kept theirs.

Two of the Real Madrid midfielders would start ahead of two barca midfielders in a combined eleven and two of the barca forwards would start ahead of Madrid forwards in a combined eleven, what's your point?

But... I thought Rakitic is world class!

nady have you noticed when Pep won things with the best players in the world it was because of his tactics, whereas when Zidane won things with with good tactics/conditioning it was only because he had the best players..?

How I see it:

Ter Stegen > Navas
Roberto < Carvajal
Pique = Ramos
Umtiti = Varane
Jordi < Marcelo
Busquets > Casemiro
Iniesta < Modric
Rakitic < Kroos
Neymar < Cristiano
Suarez > Benzema
Messi > anyone

But when you get to compare what options both teams have on the bench it's really a mess.
Paco < Morata
Andre Gomes < Isco/Bale
Aleix < Danilo (not keen on this but Aleix was mostly out this year)
Mascherano </= Pepe
Mathieu < Nacho
Arda = Lucas
Digne > Coentrao
Denis Suarez << James
Rafinha <<< Kovacic

But this is a very simplistic discussion, I think our problems go waay beyond the depth of the squad

What I'd like to point out is that with the exception of Coentrao, anyone on their bench could have been a starter in a UCL final without unbalancing very much the strength of the team as a whole, while on our bench the only player who could do that is Mascherano.
