Wilshere does offer something different I have no problem with him in the squad so long as fit and sharp, I also see that we are desperately short of experience and he has some. He wasn't bad when he came on but he was just the wrong choice for that game. I would say we need to start him or Henderson against Wales because we just can't play such an attacking team against their counter attacking pace. I would have liked to have seen Drinkwater in the squad.

Also no one has talked about Sturridge but we know he can hit the net, maybe he could have helped us convert some of that possession in the first half? It's hard to have so much talent and so few superstars....

Del Bosque is more a politician than a manager, wouldnt surprise me if Cesc start because the status and because he is a close friend to Spain NT leaders (Pique, Ramos, Iker, Busi, Iniesta)
