Man City already won 6-0 against West Ham in the first leg of the league cup. Why did they play a full strength team for the second leg? Did Pellegrini fear losing 7-0? Very weird. He could have rested his team for the EPL.

Not in the near future though because United is far from being a title contender. Mata won't change that. This may change next season if we get proper midfielders.
