well, it's Arsenal, so anything goes there. On the plus side, Arsenal have their own reason to play and win, so that gives me some hope.

Rumors going around that Ferguson will announce his retirement very soon.
I just read that article as well, I wonder who'd be capable enough of replacing him, it makes me quite worried actually. I'd like that person to be Mourinho, but he isn't the type of manager who stays in a same club for many years.

So if Chelsea and Everton finish 0:0 and if Arsenal beats Newcastle 2:1, they'll have the same ammount of points, wins, draws and losses, with the same goal-difference, cool story.

Yeah, apparently the playoff would be at Upton Park instead of the obvious option (Wembley) because of the CL final and some England games too. Plus Chelsea have a friendly in New York soon after the season ends.

Yeah at White Hart Late in front of 30 something thousand furious Spurs fans who are missing out on Champions League football.

Olympic Stadium is what I thought if Wembley isn't available, though my second choice would be The Valley.

But I'm not optimistic about it happening as I expect Chelsea to easily dispatch Everton.

David Moyes' final game. Plus Chelsea will be coming off an emotional high. Will they be up for it? 3rd place is not a lock for them.

Arsenal, you stinking tease, where was this form early in the season? You looked and felt like a feather, but now you look like a brick wall. I wonder if the 2-0 win @ Bayern did the trick.

Chelsea 1-1 Everton, after 15 minutes. Juan Mata opened the scoring, but Steven Naismith equalized after 14 minutes. What did I tell you! It's not going to be easy for Chelsea.....they have already clinched a CL spot. Everton are playing the final game for David Moyes. If Chelsea think that this day is about the whole world bending over for Frank Lampard and his 200 goals, then they are sadly mistaken.

Everton will put up a fight in this game.

EDIT: Arsenal 0-0 Newcastle

Oh, and Liverpool 1-0 QPR - goal by Phillipe Coutinho after about 20 minutes.

Man United 3-0 West Brom

This has become a terrible game. West Brom are 8th in the table. They are not a bad team. They are playing at home.....I know it is Ferguson's last game, but West Brom are just being hammered. It is like they are not even interested in playing....pathetic.

Some Man United fans have lit flares. I didn't know that flares are allowed inside a stadium in the EPL. I thought they were banned.

Other scores:
Arsenal 0-0 Newacstle
Chelsea 1-1 Everton
Tottenham 0-0 Sunderland

Currently Chelsea will finish 3rd and Arsenal will finish 4th.

In the 37th minute, in the game between Newacastle and Arsenal at St. James' Park, the Newcastle fans stood up for one minute and cheered for their GK Steven Harper who is playing his last game.

Search for the video on youtube a bit later.....someone will upload it, I am quite sure of that.

A brilliant goal for Torres to, hopefully, settle 3rd. Truly brilliant all around, from Aké's tackle to Moses' lay-off toTorres' finish.
