Watch Chelsea bottle it against Tottenham just to fuck us right over.

Who am I kidding? We'll lose to Wigan anyway.

Plain and simple: that makes him a cheater.

Luiz did nothing wrong, it was a foul and it shouldn't matter whether the fouled player feels the need to laugh, cry or murder Bart Simpson.

Judging by the way you played on Saturday, that wouldn't be much of a surprised. Would be a real shame though :\

Looked like that against Fulham too. Which is why Wigan scares me, it's the ones we really should dominate that we make complicated.

I beg to differ! He was rolling around like he had been hit by a brick wall. The next thing you know, he's smiling like nothing happened.

It is quite inaccurate to say that David Luiz did nothing wrong. This game could easily have ended 1-1.

What Rafael did clearly warranted a red card and would have been awarded one even if David Luiz has made no reaction at all, so the game was in no way affected by his reaction.

The assistant put her flag up when Luiz was still in the air, it would've been red anyway. He didn't exactly roll around, he just touched his ankle.

The other big talking point from the game at Old Trafford was David Luiz's reaction after being fouled by Rafael in an incident that saw the United full-back get sent-off.

Luiz was caught by the cameras laughing on the ground and I admit that as I watched it live I instantly thought: "I don't like that."
However, then when you think about it, he's on the ground smiling before a red card has been shown, he's not laughing or winking, thinking he has got a man sent-off.

I look at David Luiz and I see an inoffensive character – he plays on the edge at times but I don't think he is a bad guy and I just can't buy that he was lying on the floor thinking: "I've got what I want from this situation, as Rafael is about to get sent-off."

I refuse to believe that is why he was laughing – there is a culture of anger in football at the moment and people always look to jump to the worst conclusions. They want to believe he was laughing because he got Rafael sent-off but I just think he was looking at the fans, having a little smirk and thinking that his side were about to secure a great win.

He might have even been smiling, thinking 'why did Rafael do that?' – because it was a ridiculous challenge.
From Jan Molby's blog, pretty much sums up how I see it...

I agree too, but the "I see an inoffensive character" and "I don't think he is a bad guy" arguments are always weird to me. People get burned for thinking they "know" famous people (players, in this case). "Not a bad guy", he could cheating on his wife and have stabbed a kid in Brazil when he was young for all we know. Sure, he probably IS a good guy, but I don't agree you should assume he wasn't smiling in a mischievous manner just because you think he's a cool dude.

Ryan Giggs seemed like an angel forever...

But realistically, how could have Luiz known that the incident was definitely leading to a red card. He was probably smiling because he managed to win a fk and waste some more valuable time. hardly criminal.

YELLOW CARD: Untrustworthy
Just realized that they're are six other teams that must of cheered after Swansea's win. That bottom side of the table is a real tight race.

Next three Matches for Wigan

Manchester City
Arsenal
Aston Villa

You're team better get the job done, Bobby.

That are some pretty difficult fixtures for them, I didn't know that they had some hard matches coming on. They might get a win against Villa, but I doubt that they can do anything other than drawing against Arsenal. But it will be interesting nevertheless.
