What's the deal with him anyway? I don't follow Serie A, is he not getting playing time before World Cup and is considering leaving Roma during this transfer window?

He seems to have been phased out of the midfield since Strootman arrived in the summer, which sucks for fans in the USA who like to see their best international (ever) play in games. As far as I know he hasn't said anything to indicate that he wants to leave Roma, but there has been a horrible rumor about him going to Fulham.

Oh i see, thanks for the clarification. From what i remember, or have read he was quite good for Roma last season. Moving to Fulham would definitely be a step backwards for him i think.

just watched highlights of the Juve match ... Antonio Adán was shockingly poor on his Cagliari debut (after leaving Real Madrid) ... I thought Bonera was the undoubted flop of the day, but, considering that Berardi's first goal was offside, Adán's keeping may just have case to trump him ... bet Cagliari can't wait to get Michele "Higuita" Agazzi back ...
