I have a feeling BVB will be a lot tougher to beat this year. Aubumeyang seems like a perfect addition. Scored 3 in his BuLi debut.

I'm not surprised Dortmund went for him, but I'm a bit worried how he'll do againtst stronger defences in the league. He'll bulk up though and will be able to tear any defence up soon.

Watched Dortmund game. Aubameyang apart, Reus was incredible. Gundogan played more advanced because Sahin started but he has a big tendence to go to the base, in games like yesterday, Bender makes no sense.

Mainz's keeper is owning that shit today. 2 excellent saves to stop Harnik and another one against Rausch.

Okazaki also scored a nice goal now. Leitner is looking pretty lost.

Edit: and another, although Okazaki has just saved his ass on the line.

Edit: What a blunder though.

I guess Leitner won´t play pretty much in the near future, has nothing to offer even for a pretty average Stuttgart squad. There is just no position for him in my mind, he was never the talent some people in Dortmund saw in him. may be a solid bundesliga player (on the 10 I guess) someday though.

Nicolai Müller on the other hand remains pretty impressive, seems to be the best player by a landslide Mainz owns now that Szalai is gone.

Right, now that I got him, I can say it, Dortmund need to sign Kruse. Lewy is leaving, and they won't find a forward who can replace his goalscoring and creation and movement. So, what do you do? Well, first step was get Mkhtaryan and Aubameyang, who play deeper are know for delivering the goals, and Reus is very good at that, too. Kruse could be play up top and switch around with them in a fluid, Freiburg-esque spinning top, in which they can all create for each other and score as well. Individually they can't replace Lewy, but together they can replace his contributions. I think Kruse is the perfect player for them, but he needs to deliver for Gladach for that to happen.

EDIT: If they also get the promising German ST, to have a more standard 9 (but who also fits the fluid model) as back-up, they would be pretty well off with decent depth, actually.

I´m still hoping they can sign Mandzukic next year without Lewy, but it seems to be pretty unlikely, also depends on Lewas destination. Kruse would be good too, but more as (very) good and versatile Back-Up I guess, just like Aubameyang this season.

Stuttgart has the worst luck, now they lose their 2nd centre back for a couple of weeks. should be quite interesting with guys like röcker and rüdiger in the middle. :D

Bleh, I think a fluid system is better. No one in their attacking bad is a pure playmaker but they are all scorers (on top of their other abilities), so getting someone who is another creator/scorer makes more sense to me.

Madzukic would be brilliant, but I can't see it happening.

Starting XI
kp40 you overestimate Huntelaar! He's good but not someone who would score 40 goals per season. He's no Ronaldo or Messi. : )

Huntelaar knows he needs to step up. Szalai is mire than capable of taking his spot.

Wollscheid on the bench again which shocks me. He was better than Toprak last season.

Bayern-Frankfurt looks like it's gonna be good, chances for both sides so far.
