The Arsenal [2015|2016]

Saw that the first time I watched him play. I wish the rest of you could scout players as well as me. There'd be more Bellerin hype and less Neymar/Iniesta. The only other player I remember being so convinced by his ability as a 19 year old was Ronaldo. Now, Messi was so hyped up before I saw him, he's not really a fair comparison; obviously I was blown away the first time I saw him too, but I was ready for him. He didn't blow me away, because I was already expecting greatness.

Yes, he is absolutely amazing. Nowhere near as skilled as Alaba though. He might be a better fullback than Alaba one day, but he'll never be that kind of complete player. Alaba isn't even a fullback now anyway; he plays midfield for Austria, box-to-box defender for Bayern.

Ronaldo was heavily criticized when he was that young.

Iniesta is, and has been, garbage. He is a player who would not have succeeded at any other club. The definition of a system player.

You can have your opinion, I'll have the correct one.

I've literally never heard an Iniesta transfer rumor. This is because no other club has ever thought he could improve their team.

He was always under long term contract with Barca and other clubs knew Barca won't sell him ... based on your logic, Giggs, Lahm, Maldini are all shitty players because other clubs didn't go bidding war for them ... look how stupid and useless is our bids for Muller when it's clear Bayern don't want to sell him ...

He was linked to other clubs whenever there was a delay in his new contract

Andres Iniesta sparks battle between Manchester United and City

Iniesta shined in all finals he played, there should be no doubt about his talent and world class status.

Btw, lets not get carried away with Bellerin, this happened too

Bellerin is a good player, he still makes mistakes but that's to be expected at his age and experience level. He's going to be an incredible player. The only downside is that it means we'll probably have to let Jenkinson leave, and we like Jenkinson, he's good too.

I wouldn't actually mind if Hector started from right wing in some games given his ability but that could limit his impact. Debuchy has been poor since his return so we could have Jenkinson back from next season. Letting him leave would be sad.

Nah, I think Hector's better at RB. He doesn't have enough experience to start off higher up the pitch. Debuchy's a decent backup for him.

Jenko makes a lot of silly mistakes, he's not doing "great" for West Ham either so I wouldn't want him to be back in the fray anytime soon.

Chambers needs to go out on loan too. To a PL club preferably, one where he'll get to play atleast 25-30 out of 38 games in the season. He's a good lad, but he gets really nervous in the big games, he was shocking in the game against Liverpool (earlier in August I think) for example.

I think, if we can get another good CB who's equally good at CDM, and if possible, a decent consistent striker, then we can truly battle for the league instead of relying on other clubs' mishaps. Though we've already made it clear that these are the positions where we lack strength in depth numerous times before.

We played extremely well against Bayern though, really happy to see that performance. I was surprised to see that all of Douglas Costa's work didn't end up in a single goal. Every time he got the ball, it was terrifying.

Alexis is just such an incredible player. So good on the ball and just runs and runs and runs. We're so fortunate to have him.

Some reporters are saying that Arsene Wenger will sign a contract that will keep him at Arsenal until 2019.
