:( I like B52 but I think he's not going to be start the CSKA London game (something about not being 100% fit)...and the Verminator as a FW? I'm all for it(Y).

Silverware or silver...where? :(

EDIT: Almunia !!!

We really are a level below United and Chelsea, surely Wenger could admit that. With that said we could have really had a go today with a proper striker and goalkeeper. We actually played fairly well at times, the midfield trio of Fabregas Song and Diaby IS good enough for these big games imo.

Although we were really never going to win today, it does appear there are only a few pieces to the puzzle missing, unfortunately it's to late to correct that now. There's a slim chance we may get lucky in the CL but it is shaping up to be the same old story. And looking to the future, if we win nothing there's a good possibility Fabregas is off, which would make next year, which is probably Wenger's last, very difficult to say the least.

We apologize for keeping the yellow too long
Yellow Card
Terrible marking on both goals. Gael Clichy(I think) was marking John Terry on the first goal. He obviously couldn't stop him from setting up Drogba's tap in.

Why his last? I think he's doing an excellent job considering the budget he gets for transfers. I don't think another manager can do a better job than Arsene at Arsenal. And if Fabregas gets sold, you guys will be able to buy players with that money. I'm sure Nasri or Rosicky can play in the Fabregas position. I think you guys can still compete in the top 4 even if Fabregas leaves.

Without Fabregas, they can just compete for fourth position. Look at this season and how Fabregas single handedly won matches for them. In a certain match, he came as a sub, scored two goals and replaced again.

I expected more from Arsenal, SHAME ON YOU.

It was Professional vs. Amatour match.

Well I've cooled off from most of my immediate post-game fury :).
I don't think this will be Wenger's last season, he'll probably re-new in time and that will be the best thing to happen...there is no one better than him for the club (strangely enough I've never heard "Arsène Out" from so many fans as I have in the past two week before).

We really could do with a better keeper Lukasz is kinda "Flippyanski" while Mannone and 'the one with no vowels' (Sczznnyy, he's doing pretty well on loan though) are too young. Almunia actually is in 19th place regarding his 'saves-to-shots' ratio, not the type of keeper that could win us a season.

I hope Cesc stays next season, probably won't and can't blame him. I also hope we enforce the squad too in the summer (MF, FW & CB) not spend crazy like Madrid or Manchester Lite. Dream signings? No idea...maybe Moussa Sissoko just to add to the Cesc, Song midfield although Diaby isn't doing too bad.
Anyways on to the UCL, destination: Santiago Bernabéu! (H).

Like for realies we are gonna win the Champions League

I was saying there's a good chance NEXT season will be Wenger's last cause that's when his contract expires. I'm not at all a "Wenger out" Arsenal supporter, I've just always assumed that he'll stay till his contract ends and then maybe not renew it. That's just been the vague idea in my head regarding the future of the club, though I might be wrong.

It's kinda worrying that Arsenal got their asses handed to them by two different teams playing completely different methods. ManU packed the midfield and tried to stop you from playing how you want to play and it worked, we let you play your footie but closed the gaps all around and forced you to play where we wanted you to play, and that worked to.

Basically, any good defense can bring you down, really.

I'm not gonna say that you're off the chase, since there are still lots of points to go around, but you definitely don't deserve any trophy if you get tossed around like a ragdoll by temas which are supposedly equal to you.

I dunno why I worry about Arsenal every year. All promise, no substance.

Can I still dream? :(...can we still you know...win 'it'?

Keep the faith.

We have no top four teams in our run in. Tottenham and City are the hurdles we need to clear.

We're football's last hope! The protectors of the seventh seal.

I'll never, ever call for Wenger's job. He is Arsenal at the moment.
