Really?

And there are better keepers than Almunia available man.

By available im mean available for Transfer so we would have to pay over the odds.

Almunia was solid last year and im quite happy with a solid keeper who makes minimal mistakes. Almunia might not make the spectacular saves but he does an neat job.

Heh, rumor we're in for Crouch if Adebayor goes. I think he'd be a good addition. It'd take away his yearly battering of us for one thing.

Do you guys know when will Eduardo be able to come back? IMO he's a better player than Ade.

I don't think that we have to compare this both players, the first objective of Arsene is to find an a complete attaking lines... V.Persie, Eduardo, and a Target man....
Crouch coule be a good option if Adebayor leave the club... Bendtner is a young talent, but I'm agree with what was said before, Arsenal would need another striker of Adebayor go to Milan (a mistake for him IMO).

The ideal player would be Torres... but no hope to see him sign...
I heard some rumors on Villa???? is that a real option???

Adebayor: I'll Play Like Henry When I'm Paid Like Henry

Emmanuel Adebayor has elaborated on his Arsenal ultimatum, insisting he will only stay if the club pays him as much as they paid Thierry Henry…

It was revealed earlier this week that Adebayor is demanding a whopping 400 per cent pay-rise, which would see his weekly wage increase from ₤30,000 to ₤120,000.

The Togolese striker has rejected the Gunners’ ₤60,000 compromise and appears to be edging ever close to an Emirates exit this summer, as the higher-ups are losing patience.

The 24-year-old believes he deserves to be paid as much as former team-mate Henry was, insisting it is a logical quandary as much as anything.

“People ask if I’m asking for the same salary as Henry,” he told News of the World. “That is not necessarily the question.

“But I am being considered a worthy replacement for Henry while not deserving his salary. The question lies on this level.

“Either Arsenal give me what I want and I stay or they don’t and I leave.”

Eaaaasy there, big boy.

Seriously now, what the ****?

Unbelievable attitude from an absolute fu<king nobody. Mind you I remember his international manager once saying that Adebayor was not quite right in the head, and was always giving it the big "I am".

I seriously doubt that there are actually any decent clubs out there who would be interested in this guy, so I don't think Arsenal need worry to much about losing him. It's just him and his agent pushing for more dosh.

Personally, I'd let him rot in the reserves until Arsenal are desperate enough to need him.

Wow, 3/4 of a good season. He's a young lad, he doesn't deserve a big pay day. Cash in before his head explodes me thinks.

Sell him, bring in Crouchy.

Speaking of Peter, has anyone read his book "Walking Tall"? He's a really, really interesting story. He's the last of the current England squad to go through the old apprentice system, with boot cleaning and all that. Overall he comes off as a genuinely likeable guy.

I was just about to say we should get Huntelaar instead of Crouch because we'll have enough money if we sell Ade, but after some thought maybe instead of spending all that Ade money on JKH we could get Crouch for around 13mill and spend the leftover money on a CB or DM.

Now as far as Hleb goes if he wants to go to Barca we should really try to somehow make Iniesta coming to us part of that deal. This guy looks like pure Arsenal and a similar player to Hleb.

Btw why the hell is this Nasri deal still not on Arsenal.com. In my mind it's not official until then and I'm really starting to get impatient. Is it possible that the Ben Arfa deal to Marseille is holding up Nasri?

Nasri hasnt been announced yet because of Ben Afra's transfer which i think has been sorted now so the deal should be going through officially any day now.

Apparently we are about to sign Amaury Bischoff maybe they are now waiting for this to go through so they can announce a double signing

DAMN, that was well put! You don't know how extremely furious I am with this cocksucker right about now, man. I don't like to wish death on anyone, but I hope that he gets viciously raped by a pack of overgrown rabid cacti in the near future.

So I'm getting the sense that many want Adebayor to be sold.
Yes, I felt like punching someone when I read some of what he said, but I still feel that the best thing that could happen would be to for him to stay and patch things up. He adds strength, height, and pace to our attack that I don't think many can replace. Maybe I'm wrong, but in my mind I still see him as that jolly African who always has a smile when he plays, rather than a cocky greedy man whose just out for money (I think that's more the agent).

With the exception of Robert Pires(for less than a full season), players leaving Arsenal for "greener" pastures/more money have been utter ****! The same WILL happen to Flamini, Adebayor, Hleb, Fabregas and anyone else(especially the younger players) that leaves THIS Arsenal team. They cannot play the Arsenal style when they are NOT at Arsenal and, with the exception of Fabregas(maybe), they cannot do **** without Arsene Wenger.

Like Henry, they will ALL want to come back to Arsenal and realize the foolishness of their decision to leave.

Reports are saying Wenger will go after Martins...I for one wouldn't mind that at all, he's not an old lad and Wenger might just be the man to give him that leap he missed with the Army...

I think the Martins link is crap, although he wouldn't be a bad signing.

Who ever else is signed this season hopefully has a good right foot. Apart from Van Persie we have no one who can strike a dead ball well. Henry used to score alot of free kicks and that is something that was missing from our team this year especially with Van Persie out.

Well we can stop all our hopes of signing proven players... for 17 years:clapwap:

That's the last straw for me, I say we now must give into a tycoon that can pay these debts. The options seem to be sell your BEST players for 17 years or give into a tycoon that will give us the proper chance to compete at the highest level. Oh and let me show you all what selling our best players for the next few years would look like incase someone doesn't think anything should be changed. This year: Flamini, Hleb, Ade. A year later maybe V. Persie, Rosicky, and Toure. A year later maybe Fabregas, Walcott, and Eduardo.
This club is simply too good to be Europe's development team for any amount of time.
