No one is irreplacable, not even Pele, Maradona and Ronaldinho. It's far too early to tell anything about seeing him play 25 minutes, but scoring on a major league match in Serie A on your first appearance is a hell of a way to present your visit card :)

Let's hope our new number 7 is up to it.

I have my personal thoughts on that.

Intelligent comment. Sheva and Van Basten did it too, am I correct?

I hope not, but he probably will. It eas not the goal that convinced me but the facility with which he dribbles that does.

You guys realize this guy scored 22 goals in the season before his injury and 30 in 51 apps for Betis.

I know bla bla bla Serie A defenders bla bla bla Transition from La Liga bla bla bla.

But you shouldn't be surprised that he can play and score as he's shown his skills in a top league before.

Now, like Stephan said (congrats on the intelligent comment BTW) let's see if he can keep it up.

had to leave around the 60th minute, so didn't get to see the last 2 goals. but Pippo's goal was great, his 2nd one wasn't offside but what can you do, Inter are running this league now :p and Stephen's highlights aren't working, little help anyone else :(

gracias. Oliveira looked really good, and Peruzzi made some huge saves to keep the game close. Oliveira could've had a hat trick in his debut :o

Ironic how a team whose president used to be the prime minister of Italy are b!tching about Inter running the league.

and Harmsworth1, you seem to sometimes post really intelligently but you insist on being an ass at times. why?

Glad for win, and glad with the win.

haha what the hell is that supposed to mean? :D

Im really concerned for Gilardino at the moment though. It looks like he's really off form at the moment. But only for Milan? Cos he scored for Italy a few days back. Maybe he cant work as a second striker at all.

I hope he can do well with Ricardo though. Its not that I dont fancy Pippo, but Gilardino is more long term.

@Sheva

Edited, the first "win" was meant to be him hehe. About Gila, i'm sure he will improve. His flicks are going to be of great use to Oliveira.

Gilardino is similar to Adriano in this expect. Remember, both had their golden times at Parma sice they played as lone attacker with a dedicated midfield. Gilardino thus wants to play on his own. With the coming of Oliveira and the "rebirth" of Pippo, his end at Mialn, just like Adriano's end at Inter seems just round the corner.

It is a pretty sad thing. I preffer them to stay put rather than re-enforcing some stupid spanish team.

I kind a agree with that. While watching the Inter Fiore game, one of the commentators said something like this about Luca Toni which i think applies to Gila and Adriano.

This guys are good in small teams (not much success in the NT for the 3) because their teammates plays for him, what i mean is the all will be looking to gave them the ball or do whatever it takes to put him in the best position avaible to score. But in big teams like Inter or Milan, in which they are not the stars but are one of many stars, they have a problem to shine or do their job like they did before joining a big team.

They are good, but not Milan or Inter caliber IMHO. I think Adriano is better than Gilardino, but Crespo and Ibra are better than him, IMO. And if you think about Gila.

There was a reason why after not to long our strikers were Sheva and Pippo, insted of Sheva and Gila.

whatever it is, Gila scored about 20 goals last season and assisted A LOT. so its not his style of play that is affecting him.

Gila will come good. He is severely lacking in confidence at the moment. One goal in the CL and it will come pouring. Like Crespo for us.

Maybe Gila and Toni, but about Adriano, let me find you his goal scoring record for our NT and you'll be scared.
