I would welcome him back.... but not for that price, although he's worthy.

And sheva7 Roma may be leading the table, but their are not that strong. Inter is more dangerous, Roma is a team that can get in a slump.

Well, if Inter fire Mancini, they'll be a threat.

I'd take Sheva back for free when he's 35 and wants to retire with Milan :( although he keeps saying he wants to end his career at Stamford Bridge... bastard, he lies :(

I have this amount of hate of Sheva, not that much.. But thats not why I dont want him back.

When he comes back, he wouldnt get the same treatment from the fans anymore, he would no longer be the Curva's idol, Maldini doesnt like him now, his #7 is not available.. And so on. Oh, he kissed Chelsea's badge as well. I dont think he's worthy of a Milan shirt anymore after that, though he said he doesnt mean it. I dont know. I just dont want him back.

good win against Ascoli today, we played fantastic, just some poor finishing. Ascoli fought hard in the 1st half and it was very even, but Milan just took over in the 2nd half and were unlucky only to score once and that late... Kaka could've had a hat trick, but Pagliuca just kept denying him... Pippo & Boriello both hit the bar, Pippo missed a sitter, as did Kaka on one occassion. Ascoli hit the bar in injury time after a fantastic strike, but in the end we deserved the 3 points. but the goal was something else, Pirlo with an absolutely delightful ball towards the left-centre of the 6-yard box and Jankulovski curls around the defense and meets with the ball perfectly to head it past Pagliuca. a thing of beauty (Y)

Dida- solid, 7
Cafu- great runs as usual, better than usual today, 7.5
Simic- not at his best, but good enough, 6.5
Maldini- very shaky, age is catching up to him, 5.5
Jankulovski- average game, great goal, 7
Pirlo- his usual quiet self, his outstanding pass setting up the goal, 7
Brocchi- worked hard, but his passing and shooting was horrendous, 6.5
Gourcuff- did very well, had a good eye and was solid with his runs and passing, 7
Kaka- how did he not score a hat-trick? outstandings runs, makes it look easy, 8
Pippo- unlucky not to score once, missed a sitter later on, 6
Boriello- was once touted as the left-footed Pippo, plays exactly like him. not great today, 5.5

Gattuso- not much time, but as usual, was a tiger, 6
Seedorf- horrible, other than that free kick against Parma, has done nothing right this season, 4
Ambrosini- solid off the bench, 6

WE'RE IN THE +!!! (H)

Kaká was crazy last night man. The performance was.. majestic. I think thats the word.

I was wondering to myself, is he beginning to really take it up a level this year because Sheva's gone? What are your toughts on that?

We played really well last night, contrary to the scoreline. Dida saved us big time too. Though I think againts small teams, any so called big team would suffer sudden lapses of concentration like that. But its okay because overall we were fantastic

And by the way.. Pagliuca! Wow. What a great personal show by him. If any other keeper was on for Ascoli I think we would have easily scored 5.

Bravo Milan. Now we are -6 from Inter and -5 from Roma. But Palermo are shocking at the moment. Surprise of the season?

EDIT : Just realized I didnt mention Jankulovski and Gourcuff! Hopefully that goal boasts his confidence and also Carlo's. Great goal. The pass from Pirlo! :|

Gourcuff is so steady and cool on the ball man. His game last night was flawless. His atempted assist for Pippo was great too.

Is there another choice for him?

He's your best player by far. If he doesn't step up, who will?

yeah, thats what I thought. so in a way Sheva's departure has a psychological positive then cause Kaká's been wayyy better than before lately.

When you play knowing yer the best player on the team and everyone expects you to save their arses, you'll give more, that's logical.

thinking again, its actually bad for us then. maybe too much pressure would be on his shoulders and we would also be too dependant on him.

but we shall not worry with Yoann Gourcuff (H)

He's the team superstar now, it's the burden he's got to carry. The thing is he has other 4-5 individuals capable of getting a result for us when he's not playing well, luckily.

probable formation for the game at Livorno :

Dida

Bonera-Nesta-Maldini-Favalli

Ambrosini-Brocchi

Gourcuff--------Seedorf

Oliveira-Inzaghi

Kaká, Pirlo, Gattuso, Cafu and Jankulovski are being rested for the CL match againts Lille I presume. Gilardino is also back fit. Maybe he'll feature tonight.

Livorno is a tough team to beat, although we beat them 3-0 at their place last season, without Kaká, its gonna bit a lil harder. Hopefully the young gun Yoann can show some magic.

you're rating Gourcuff way too highly man. he's not that great of a player (yet) to single handedly help a world class team grab a win. that and we wasn't even on the bench today :p

0-0 FT. Livorno away was never gonna be easy, although I read that we were great in the first half and could've easily been 1 or 2-0 up by half time. well, no more 100% season, more importantly we fall further back from the top :(

Gourcuff should have stayed another year or two in France to get more playing time.

He will be world class, but he should have signed with Milan and loaned back to Rennes for another year of seasoning. It would have been hugely beneficial to all involved. Anyway, it will be interesting to see how Ancellotti develops this fine young talent.

you heard wrong. Milan played bad, Livorno had almost the same number of chances (which is close to none). There was no creativity through out the whole game.

and people still think Inter will mess it up... haha, I'll see you in the end

Maldini injured in first 5 minutes.

Your squad is crap, can't Berlusconi come up with money... like I know Inter are lucky to have such a great squad but you guys ("2nd best team") are making the Seria A look bad... we used to have the best players and now we're behind the other two top leagues.

it was a sorry draw, Milan had a chance the first 15 minutes after that probably 2 or 3. Livorno didn't play good either but was good enough for the level Milan was playing.

Just a BAD game, at least we didn't lose because it could have happen.

why?, its not like he's a south american getting used to an european league, he's been playing regularly at Milan which says a lot about him.
