Such short memory. Putting :| next to a name like Maldini in this context is really lack of football knowledge. Name me a player (worldwide) with his age that can perform like him at this top level. Most of the team would still love to have THIS Maldini in their ranks.

maldini is obviously on the decline now....but he is still a solid defender and last year he was amazing....this year u can see signs of age but that could alost be fitness issues

maldini is a milan legend

Dennis Bergkamp ? Ha! Comparing him to Maldini is blasphemy.

Maldini is footballing royalty. Theres no one like him in todays game and I don't think we'll see another player like him for quite some time.

A 36 year old Maldini who is "slow as hell" is still better than anything Madrid, Inter, Arsenal or United have. And thats just from a plain footballing perspective .

He may be slower than he used to be but his experience and determination more than compensate for that.

Maldini symbolizes grit, determination, loyalty and dedication. Bergkamp symbolizes Aviophobia.

So yeah, don't you ever ":|" Maldini again.

What the f*ck does this have to do with anything?

The :| was in reference to Cafu voting for Maldini as player of the year, not his skills. But I guess a little criticism is a little for you guys to take. I understand.
