lemme start up with a nice rumour from Football Italia :D

Italy’s Olympic bid kicks off this evening with the opening group game against Ghana, while Alberto Gilardino explains his decision to stick with Parma.

“To beat Ghana in that heat, and with their advanced state of fitness preparation, would be an extraordinary feat,” claimed Azzurrini boss Claudio Gentile.

Italy are fresh from their triumph in the European Under-21 Championships and are among the favourites for the gold medal in Athens.

Gentile has adopted his tactical system to suit the introduction of Andrea Pirlo – one of three over-age players along with Matteo Ferrari and Ivan Pelizzoli.

The Milan man should take the same deep midfield role he currently holds at club level, with Alberto Gilardino as the centre-forward.

The striker hit the headlines yesterday afternoon by penning a new contract tying him to Parma until 2007, despite strong interest from Roma, Juventus and Milan.

“The circumstances made it possible for him to stay,” revealed agent Francesco Romano, “and Alberto decided to stick with Parma. This team can play at the highest level this season.”

Now that the paperwork has been filed, the representative can give more insight into the truth behind the newspaper rumours.

“Roma had come forward with a bid, as had Juventus, but Real Madrid only contacted Parma and did not speak directly with Gilardino.”

However, there are rumours that Milan have already ‘booked’ Gilardino for next summer and he admits this contract is not necessarily binding in the current financial climate.

“We are not aware of any agreement with Milan,” said Romano. “Gilardino has extended his contract with Parma, but we are not to know if he will be sold in January or June.”

Thats the biggest video game question ive ever heard. And for not knowing Maldini is Milans captain, you should have to do 50 pushups and fast for the next 48 hours.

Pirlo takes the right corner kicks and also the penalty kicks.
AC Milan also usually play with a 4-1-2-1-2. So I'd be expecting this as their lineup for next year

------------Shevchenko--------Crespo

-----------------------Kaka

---------Seedorf-----------Gattuso

----------------------Pirlo

--Kaladze---Maldini-------Nesta-----Cafu

-----------------------Dida
