I agree. The sport has changed over the years and it's hard to translate club success with international success. If he wasn't Argentinian I would have no problem with him winning the World Cup, but since he is I hope he fails miserably.

There's some worried people in Brazil concerning the psychological state of the brazilian players after the game with Chile. And I quote some bits that I read:

The visit(of psychologist Regina Brandao to their training camp on Tuesday) came after panicky Brazil nearly crashed out against Chile before squeezing through on penalties, with Neymar, goalkeeper Julio Cesar, David Luiz and captain Thiago Silva all seen crying.
Star forward Neymar cried during the national anthem at the tournament-opener against Croatia, and tears have never been far away since.
"They cry during the national anthem, they cry at the end of extra-time, they cry before and after the penalties," said technical director Carlos Alberto Parreira.
Carlos Alberto, Brazil's World Cup captain in 1970: "The team is crying when they're singing the anthem, when they get hurt, when they shoot penalties! Come on... Stop crying! Enough!" he said.

Some brazilians killed themselves after the 1950 World Cup, this isn't a surprise, too much pressure is being put on them.

Can't wait for tomorrow's matches. Especially Brazil x Colombia, that will be a fucking riot... Vamos Colombia! :lui:

Assuming the Netherlands win tomorrow...

We have some great semi-finals! Germany vs. Brazil is very historic, but Holland vs. Argentina is a rematch of the 1978 final, and Holland vs. Belgium is even more interesting with an awesome Low Countries Derby.

There will be at least 10 goals if Netherlands face Belgium.

Also, Courtois has shut-out Messi since December 2012.
