Everyone here is incredibly overrating the need for depth when you have 2 All Stars, and a bonified superstar on a team. Paul Shirley could start for them at Center and I could be their point guard, and they'd still finish in the top 4 in the east.

Everyone except me and I completely agree. They don't really need a bench with KG, Allen and Pierce.

Still not enough to guarantee a championship.

Eh I don't think it is depth so much as veteran playoff experience...though they are riding a lot on those three guys.

haha and now the Celtics offer Reggie a contract at the age of 42 2 years after his retirement. Now thats what I call desperate and pathetic.

All three have gone to the Conference Title Round in their careers.

Forza Suarez! (ps brotha can you spare a dime?)
I as well am happy for the Bucks for calling Yi's bluff. Just shut up and play for the team that drafts you. If you don't like it, leave when you're rookie contract expires.

Good to see that Yi finally signed. A big F.U. to all the stupid idiots involved with him that made things difficult. Big props to the Bucks with their balls of steel. Now I just hope that Yi doesn't flop, for the Bucks' sake. They deserve something out of all the sh*t they went through to get this done.

I heard that Senator Kohl personally promised the Chinese Basketball Federation 20+ minutes per night for Yi :(

According to a report, Milwaukee Bucks owner Herb Kohl, during negotiations with Yi Jianlian, guaranteed that the rookie Chinese power forward will get at least 20 and "possibly" as much as 25 minutes a game his rookie season. But if you look at the average number of minutes other No. 6 draft choices have played in their rookie seasons in recent years, you see that they routinely got more minutes than even the maximum Kohl is said to have pledged. In other words, if Kohl promised Yi playing time, he was promising something Yi likely would get even if there was no promise.
