He truly deserves it. He is one of the best RB we had in a long time (though he may play as LB at Poland NT).
Come on, Tanase! Come here! I would really want this guy here. I think that FC Arges would rather accept our offer (if it was really made) of 1000000 euros + 50% of the next transfer, than FC Koln's 2000000 euros.

Tanase is one HUGE missing link in the midfield for us and if he came over it would be probably the best transfer we've made in quite some time.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Ninu play 90 minutes in his position as well as Grzelak starting. I've seen only good things from the new number 10 so far. I really think Ionescu could be a Dica-type player if given the opportunity to create and play more in the his central midfield role. If he starts we'll be able to see that.
I hope we get a victory and continue to gain points for Romania in the coefficient race. I'm hoping as well that Timisoara get a good result tomorrow in Ukraine.

No they definitely are, I'm not sure where you read that. If you need any proof just visit this site http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/. If what you say would be true then how would smaller nations who don't make it to the groups would ever get any coefficient points?

Anyway, a very entertaining and successful match from all aspects. Like I predicted, Ionescu was an absolute jewel in our midfield. He is the creative central midfielder that we need. I hope he starts from now on because he showed that he is indeed a class player who can help us out tremendously. Grzelak proved he deserved the number 10 on his back and it's great to see Stancu continue his great form. Surdu is probably the only player who didn't have a good match on the pitch but I'm sure he'll score again soon, he was just unlucky tonight.
3-0 and I'm confident this result should easily take us through to the next round. There's no way we don't score again next week in Scotland.

Ionescu really proved that he can be that creative midfielder we have lacked since Dica left. He was absolutely fantastic. The speed, the dribbling, the passing, the shooting, he has all the qualities. I hope he continues to get starts. There's a reason why Steaua looked so great tonight and that was because they had that all-important attacking central midfielder position filled up by a capable player. I don't want to take anything away from Toja, he has his own qualities as a player but Ionescu is more fitting to start with our style of play. This can only be a good thing for Bergodi too especially since we'll be playing on 3 fronts this season (League, Cup and Europa League if we make it to the groups).
PS: I hope Szekely is fine and it's nothing long term. The fact that he continued to play for about ten minutes after the initial injury happens leads me to believe that it's nothing serious and the staff was just being cautious with him.

Heh, yeah, got lucky. A little too close to the end of the second half though. For a while there I thought we were gonna get another crappy 0-0 away result to some s*itty team but thankfully it didn't happen and we started the season off on the right foot. Really important matches coming up this week!
