Wow, I couldn't have seen this coming in a million years. Great morale booster ahead of what will be a freakin' intense end of the season. We just gotta get the job done at Buzau next week and then we have 5 matches from hell awaiting us that can either put us right back in the title chase or eliminate us from Europe.

It's not luck, it's hard work and smart positioning in the box. He definitely has a pretty well refined head-game and he uses it to his advantage to beat tired defenders late in matches.

3 wins in a row and unbeaten in the last 5 games? where the hell was this earlier in the season??? we're not playing well by any stretch but we're grinding out results and all of a sudden we have a bit of luck on our side (Toja was SO offside today).

I love that Stancu keeps scoring. I want him to get double digits (he's at 9 now) before season's end. A goal (or two or three (H)) against the dogs would be nice.

time for karma to be a bitch to someone else, after all we've been through. Lacatus would win his respect again if he'd quit after a victory against Dinamo, it would be the best move and he'll walk out like a man. there's no future for him here, not until he becomes a real coach.

I don't think this team has what it takes to finish in the top five and qualify for Europe. In fact, I don't even see us winning another game for the rest of the season.

I can't wait for Lacatus to get his ass out of here. I've never seen Steaua play this poorly in my entire life. We need such a change at the club from top to bottom. I don't know when we're gonna get back to being what we once were but I have a feeling it's gonna be quite a while.

Becali is going to be the coach for the rest of the season. We're not winning another point anyway with the games we have left.

I hope that Shifty Petrescu and MM somehow return to Ghencea because I feel they are teh only ones that will be able to save the incredible mess that Steaua has become.

We suck! I want to stop suffering because of our way we play, but I can't. We no longer have a STELIST in our team... Have you seen any gesture of fury at this players? Since Radoi is gone, there is no one left that cares about this club. Ghionea and Goian are starting to piss me off with their performance. Banel... Banel sucks the worst. He runs like a fool and he loses all the balls. He can't kick a ball well. Why did they let you free, Mendoza, why?
I wonder what will happen to us... It's unacceptable that a club with our history perform like that. But that's it. We are a team living from the past performances.

This will not change until Becali sells OR a strong enough front man (sort of like MM was) can come and make the managerial decisions and be able to keep Becali on a leash.

Yeah, to bad MM left. Adi Ilie was just a puppy. He wasn't strong enough. Argaseala is a nobody. He has nothing to do with football except he was a linesman, meanwhilee working with my dad (dad worked at FAUR, and Argaseala worked at Grivita).
I was really disappointed when Becali didn't sell the club to that israeli guy. That guy seemed to have big plans. He said he'll buy Benayoun. :D
I just read in today's newspaper (Gazeta Sporturilor) that Steaua may merge with Urziceni at the end of the season. I wouldn't accept this. Steaua is Steaua, the club that won the ECC and Supercup of Europe. The club that made us proud.
And, as for a future coach (or second coach, considering Becali :D) I would prefer a new one, and by "new" I mean a coach that hasn't coached in Romania yet. And that coach must impose a new style of play, some schemes. Lacatus was just a toy (besides being a name) that did no special thing. Oh, and no Shifty Petrescu. Good coach, but you never kiss the Rapid flag. Really! It's unforgivable.

yeah, after all even Lacatus trained with Dinamo when he was 11 or so, and that didn't matter at all. Petrescu would do wonders but I don't think he'll want to come in the near (Gigi-esque) future.

CFR and Unirea have both made it to the CL groups before Dinamo has even gotten close. This makes me almost as happy as Steaua winning the league :innocent_smile_1:
