I prefer the 2nd formation aswell.$teauA;2610764 said:Alright so at this point it's pretty unlikely that we're gonna be bringing in anybody else. Everyone seems to think that now with Radoi gone, Steaua will switch to a 4-1-4-1 formation. What do you guys think will be the "echipa tip" in that formation and who do you think should be the next captain?
Here's my take:
Zapata
Ogararu - Goian - Ghionea - Marin
Petre
Nicolita - Ionescu - Dayro - Semedo
Kapetanos
That's what I think Lacatus will do based on past teams but I would actually prefer the following much more:
Zapata
Ogararu - Goian - Ghionea - Marin
Petre
Nicolita - Tiago - Dayro - Toja
Kapetanos
I stand firm in my opinion that Toja is a very effective player on the left wing and it's simply not his fault that sans one or two games when he first arrived, he's been played mostly out of position.
I liked the play of Tiago towards the end of the season and I really think that if he's allowed to play a little more up the field and not in a DM position, he will be more effective. I could see a nice little chemistry developing with him and Dayro.
About the new captain situation, I disagree 100% with Becali who says that Goian will probably be the new captain. I don't think Goian has the character of a leader and he shows this by hist silly mistakes on the pitch which often cost him pointless yellows. In my opinion either Zapata, Petre Marin or Ogararu should take the arm band. I wouldn't be surprised if Nicolita got it either, I think such a move would help his confidence sky rocket.
First friendly is on the 20th of January against a pretty good club in FC Zurich.
as for the captain issue, Ghionea, Petre Marin or Ogararu (though he's still on a loan) would be good, Zapata aswell. but I hope Nicolita doesn't get it. yes it will boost his confidence a lot but it will be gone after a few matches and he'll still be the same Road Runner. I hope he gets sold in the summer.
oh and Toja and Tiago
can't wait for the friendlies.
