Well i was pretty bored, so i thought, why not post an image of my current squad?

If you think im cheating when i have Ronaldinho, im not, he had a relegation release clause on his contract of only 4.5m, so i snapped him up when PSG got relegated. Same with Frey, only his was 3.2m.

What do you think?

Well, post your own current squad. If you want.

This is my Atalanta squad. MY tactics sometimes have one striker and on AM.

I sold Rossini and bought Zlatan. Since then. I won Serie and Ital Cup in first year and now I look to take on CL. (With update 3.9.68).

Your squad looks very accomplished. Although you are Ajax.

With his skanky team comes skanky results. I should have let the little ****e design his own tactics instead of letting him have access to mine. Saying that, he's only 10 and probably would have played a standard 4-4-2.

LOL, lost of squad submissions but not much advise.

I'll start with John_Arne_Riise's Ajax Squad:

The Team

Excellent team! A great pair of Goalkeepers and some great, young strikers. A couple more young defenders may be a good idea (to take over from Henchoz) but far from essential. I would recommed a couple more DMC's (Villarreal, Kaluzny and Vampeta being the obvious choices) to add solidity and maybe another 'big name' in the midfield, anyone going cheap. It is a very good squad and needs little improvement, infact 'thinning down' may be in order ;)

Tactics

I would recommend a good attacking tactic with Ibrahimovic and Tsiglako upfront and Ronaldinho in behind them, but a couple of decent DMC's to steady the ship and a four man defence. A lone striker tactic would also work well, but if so I would recommend 2 AMC's so you always have three attackers. Frey or Chiotis in goal is a tough one, but I woud say Chiotis in goal and Frey on the bench.

For the furture...

Definately go for a stadium expansion if you haven't already done so. Signings I would recommend would be a two of either Villarreal, Kaluzny or Vampeta and a high profile attacking midfielder - someone like Fiore or Pires (if they're not too old). I would sell Edu and Mido, and be looking for a replacement for Henchoz who must be quite old.

Hope this helps...

Now to JTNY's Atlanta squad:

The Team

A very good team at the early stages of the game and an excellent base to work on. I would recommend a change in personal between the sticks, Chiotis would do fine, and a more solid DMC - again Kaluzny, Villarreal or Vampeta. Your bench looks good, there is a lot of potential their which, if correctly nurtured, will set you up great for years to come. I would recommend that you brought a little more experience to the club (esp. in the defence) and maybe a big name or two.

Tactics

The tactic you are playing looks about right - a good mix of offensive and defensive play. A lone striker tactic (Tsigalko) would also be good, I think.

For the furture...

As I said above, I feel a good DMC would be a useful addition in the form of Vampeta, Villarreal or Kaluzny. I would also recommend that you bring a bit more experience to the club, Baggio would be good, and a big name or two. Thinking further ahead, a new striker such as Palermo or Konstantinou would be another excellent addition.

Hope this helps...

Right, I wrote up a rather long reply last night, and my PC went bang on me.

Michael is manager of Brazil, he sold Becks for 80m to generate funds for better players. He used AOA07UK, being my tactic, I knew what I could use to counter it, my sweeper on defensive counter, I went 1-0 up, then 2-1 down, finished 2-1 at half time, I went attack and he hate me up 5-2.

It is by far the best CL run I have ever seen, there again, the squad is top class. Larsson was his major signing, he did excellent.

I did beat him in the League cup final, he got in a strop, but soon calmed down.

He hit 57,000 odd points in the hall of fame, kudos to him.

Thanks for the advice, i have actually been looking for a DM, van halst is 34, so i've been looking for a replacement, i've been sending scouts all over the world, but cant seem to choose a player i like. I have a soft spot for Henchoz, i think he is 30 now. Cant remember, now that you have recomended a few players i will see if i can grab them.

Big name midfielder, im trying to snag Aimar from Valencia, i think this could be a possibility, since he's wanted a contract for a year, but Valencia havent offered, so once his contract is unprotected, i'll move in for the kill.

Stadium expansion, the last 3 seasons they've all been turned down due to council blocking it, well i can only keep trying.

Who becomes better in the game later on? Mido or Ibrahimovic?

Edu has been a good 'off-the-bench' type player for van der Vaart, he could be of use, perhaps.

I had to change my tactics. I often changed my tactics but the inevitable came and they were cracked. I have reverted to 4-1-2-1-2, with the middle "2" being wingers.

My defence is going great guns...... I won't change it. With Sala, Rinaldi, Said, Dorsin and Carrera as back ups I am happy (I forgot to add I had Okoronkwo). I am getting Bruno of Gremio on a free. I also got Ligkos...... yet I have been looking for experience....... I was thinking Batistuta. Kaluzny will go out of contract in 03 and Mendes Da Silva and Dabo have played fine. I am going to save up and buy an experienced player. I might sell Ibrahimovic...... He has had a poor start, (plus I don't like the work rate).

On my Union Berlin game for the challenge going on, I'm in year 2013 or so and I have both Ibrahimovic and Mido on my roster. I always start Ibrahimovic on the left side of the strike force with Huntelaar(PSV) flanking him.
Mido I like to use of the bench more for the quick burst of strenght in the offense since I prefer to use Raul over him.

I'd have to say that Ibrahimovic is but it all depends on what tactic you are using and if the players can connect well enough to produce goals and wins.

I'd agree, from what I have seen Ibrahimovic becomes better, I have heard of Mido being terrible in games of friends.

I have recently brought Ibrahimovic for Leicester in 2010 (£1.9m from Benfica)
Hes a great striker, but hasn't had much of a chance for a full season of first team due to Kallstrom and Tsigalko

Mido is superb as a lone striker. He hit 30 in 27 for me before breaking his leg :(

IMO, Ibrahimovic is the better of the two. He is younger, tends to have better stats and is usually more consistant.
