Spidey in black suit, that's awesome :p, adds something misterious to it and I bet it will be more than ass-kicking in it.
He was my fave some years ago, always preffered him and Batman over Superman & co. :p. Can't wait for the movie, it should be great. The first two were pretty good, especially the second which had the psychological part a bit more evolved (Peter wanted to give up being Spider-Man, then he realised the sence of the famous saying "With great power comes great responsability" and the show went on :)).

The reason behind the black suit is the story between Spiderman and Venom, can't exactly remember why its black but yeah its definitely something to do with Venom.

Well from what I remember, from the cartoon, Peter got the alien DNA from Venom, his costume turned black and his has some awesome new powers but the alien started taking over. That's what I remember but I'm not sure it has something to do with that, 'cause that costume was organic while this one looks like the previous suit.

yeah, its something like that. with the symbiotic suit taking over and all that. And after that there was even another symbiotic enemy right? that it was red and black. I think his name was Kraven but I cant remember.

Carnage is the guy you're thinking of



PS: if Venom will be in the 3rd movie than it's pretty much guaranteed to be the best one out of the three.

They also set up another villain in the second movie, Dr. Curt Connors(The Lizard). Also I just found out that the Sandman will be a villain in the third film, unless that was already known.


Steaua there's gonna be a lot more than three Spiderman movies.

Yeah I know that, I just meant the best out of the three that have been made so far.

btw, Raimi, Toby Maguire and Kirsten Dunst only have contracts until Spidey 3 so there's nothing set for a fourth movie yet.


and also in Spidey 3 is Gwen Stacy who will be played by Bryce Dallas Howard (from The Village) and Sandman has a wife apparently but I cant remember the name of the actress playing her

Found this on another forum

THE Cartoons made it an alien that came in a rocket ship. The comic books back in the 70's had it different. He got it when Marvel had the Secret Wars in another world after his original costume got destroyed when an Alien machine made it for him.

He got rid of it when he found out it was an alien symboite and then made a black one himself... and later on that alien symbiote ended up with Eddie Brock, who was mentioned in the first Spiderman movie in one line.

So he made a black one himself, though I think it will have something to do with Venom & co.

Are you even sure that's a black suit, it looks like a colourised picture to me. I mean everything is dark blue...
