some disappointing faces in wc 2002

the faces in wc 2002 r mind blowing except some which should have been concentrated on . some r :-

1) ronaldo - really horrible
2) ole gunner solksjaer - his face is awful .

any more, u people think i missed out saying ?

you don't understand

First, if you don't like Owen's face, maybe you should get a better video card, because it pretty much looks like him. It's not a photograph, but it's easily recognizable.

Second, many of the players faces are not accurate because EA sports does not have the image rights to the player. If Ronaldo doesn't agree to allow EA to use his image (in many previous versions, he hasn't allowed them to use his NAME) then they can't do a close reproduction of his face.

EA took many of the star players, and (of course) the players who advertise their games, and tried to accurately reprosent the faces. Thierry Henry, Zidane, Beckham and a few others are really impressive. For most of the players, they just got as close as they could using a finite set of generic facial characteristics.

Do not fear, Chris is here!!!!

As some of you may already know, I have already made Solskjaer face, and the face will be compatible with world cup soon.
I will now look at doing any other players that you list in this thread.
I am waiting for a good editor so that I can assign faces to players, so as soon as one is released which works with World cup I will make the solskjaer face compatible.
If you want a face of a player please post the name of the player, the team he plays for, and please post 2-3 pics of the player from different angles.
The owen face in WC2002 is good, but the head is too big so I will be working on the owen face to make it perfect.

You can download the fifa 2002 version of it from www.soccered.com and as soon as an editor for wc2002 is released(fcdb xp v1.1) I will tell you how to install into wc2002.

remember, there is not creation center, and not all of us have Windows XP (thank God), so you will have to wait for FEd2002 to be compatible with WC 2002.

nah, it's probably more horrible research from the EA numbnuts, Prosinecki has had a head of thick black hair in every FIFA. They just haven't a clue as to what he looks like. It's more horrible research from EA, like having Roberto Carlos a right footed player....man. :rolleyes:
