surely many peeps will like sin city but not me.

comic books fans will be extatic!

Just got back from seeing Sin City.
I never read the comic books nor had I heard much about them but from what I heard and it being a Robert Rodriguez film with a guest direction of QT it had to be good. My expectations were high and it didn't disapoint.
What a movie! wow!

So unique and great storytelling, great visuals, great everything and special mention to Jessica Alba, dang! :jap:

I went to go see the movie yesterday. Got to say it was very entertaining, and it always kept you intrested. Good unique character's and concept, very good overall. I'd watch it more than once, and id advise it to anyone. Best movie ive seen in awhile. Alba was a good positive of the movie (H) The only negative about the movie was Brittany Murphy :nape: Her Phony accent was just :|

Yeah saw this film yesterday, im only 17 and dont really look that old so we bought tickets to watch mr and mrs smith and then snuck into sin city, it was timed perfectly so it just started when we walked in. I was very impressed by this film, it was entertaining from the start to the end. I thort the characters were very cheese along with the script but i wud expect that from a film based on a comic book. Rosario dawson is very fit not forgetting the stunning jessica alba. After hearing all the hype on this film, it for once lived up to it, i was suprised that josh hartnett didnt get a longer role in the film. It was quite violent and one of the first films i cringed at especially when bruce willis shot that guys dick off!!!. Excellent film worth a look definitley.

I dont know, I wouldn't buy that DVD. Robert Rodriguez said he's working on a huge spcial edition DVD where he'll have the theatrical movie PLUS a director's cut of each of the 3 stories in 3 different disks (but all in the same package).

One of the best movies I've ever seen.

Shame they didn't manage to find a way to blend all 3 stories in one or this would have been considered one of the greatest movies of all time, up there with Pulp Fiction.

The characters even the secondary ones that get like 1 or 2 min of screen time were all excellent.

Definitely the best Comic book movie ever.
