This is the happiest I've been with my team this early in a long time. I have a pretty clear system to shoot for and it shouldn't be that hard to fill the rest of the positions. Really any kind of #9 should do well ahead of Griezmann, either working channels, dropping deep, or as a target man to knock down balls. Central midfield is pretty easy, and with Koke on one of the "wings" (Griezmann tracking back like for Simeone), I have a lot of freedom with the kind of right winger I draft. Bellerin IMO is the best right back around not named Lahm, and I think Boateng would be even better for Simeone. Boateng's biggest weakness is turning and running 1v1 with a speedy attacker when the offside trap doesn't work; he often commits stupid fouls and concedes penalties. However, when sitting further back and playing a more desperate (for lack of a better word) defense, he is one of a kind when you add in his long passing to start counters. His MoM display in the World Cup Final, and likewise pretty much every game with Germany, shows this clearly. I think any decent defender will fit next to him nicely. I really just need someone who can win headers and make last ditch tackles and blocks.

I regret selecting Messi. Should've gone for Suarez. Because I picked Messi first, now my striker is Aubameyang, who is not bad at all, but not a top 3 striker.

There were lots of wingers left to pick at the time I picked Aubameyang e.g. Di Maria. Strikers go fast and there are not many good strikers who are worth picking.

Instead of Messi - Aubameyang, I could have gotten Suarez - Di Maria.

I have both of cdicicco's next picks. He strangely gave me a list of 4 players when I pick right after him. If I wanted to, I could have given him his first and 4th choices and snap up his 2nd and 3rd choices but fortunately for him, my next picks are not among the 4 players he sent me.
