I just noticed a major flaw in your system after going over the "player selection list" with my eyes for 1 second out of curiousity. I've never gone over the rules list though, so maybe there is something written about it, but I doubt it.
So you've got this thing that if someone cannot make the pick by himself, he's supposed to send his pick to the person who is after him, or to someone else who is available. Yeah that's understandable, otherwise you guys would be picking players until the next year. But that's where the error lies which creates massive instability for certain players who cannot make the picks in time by themselves at all times (obviously it can also be their fault, but there are other important things in life than this competition). But about that in the paragraph after the next.
I've also made an observation that at some point of the picking phase, my logic says it's probably after everyone has made their starting XI, you guys start rushing this thing with everyone sending their picks to whoever possible to get it done as quickly as possible.
Now where I'm trying to get at is that for example, pick number 8 who happens to be yoyo has to go away for a week or something other silly like that. Sends like a bunch of his picks (let's say 10 or 15) in case some of them should get picked by someone else meanwhile, to number 9 (Filipower). Now the latter gets an advantace here. Your main rule or even motto is "no tipping", but this way Filipower could learn like 5 new faces he never knew before, this clouding his judgement regarding his own team selection (random example: yoyo's pick includes Adrian Ramos who reminds Filipower of another Colombian striker Luis Muriel). Also should yoyo change his mind about some player saying fuck him he's out of my plans, he (Filipower) could just pick him, although it wasn't his own player, but still better than his original player. Yeah I know you've got some code of ethics here obviously that you don't pick other peoples' players like this, but the point remains, and it could also be labelled as a player tipping in a whole different scale.
And it also gets worse during the point where you guys start rushing to get the teams complete as fast as possible with lots and lots more picks getting sent around. This basically could affect one's team's originality with giving people ideas etc.
No system is perfect though, and since you want to get this done as quickly as possible, there's really no other way. And also I probably should mention here that probably everyone's doing this for fun, and the grand prize is not 10000 euros. I mostly brought this up just in case there would be some sort of a prize then this is no way to run a competition. Fuck and I feel like I forgot to mention something else as well, but I can't see all the paragraphs at once in this small window (post quick reply one), and scrolling up and down between them here is a nuisance.
EDIT: Ah and I forgot to say that I just couldn't leave this to be unwritten once I thought about it.
