It is a terrible song, and so is the recent album.

Mezmerize just pales in comparison to their self-titled album and Toxicity -- by leaps and bounds. The lyrics are horrendous, and as for Daron Malakian's vocals ... blargh! I don't know, SOAD are usually clever when it comes to their satire and political rhetoric, but it all sounds half-assed and stupid on this album.

I think Mezmerize is great, though not better than SOAD and Toxicity, yes.

EDIT: I do agree with you on the lyrical department, very weak when compared to the first 2 albums. And about "political rhetoric"..well.....they were actually trying to be LESS political on this album. :fool:

i'm not even mentioning now the guy who said SOAD's "BYOB" sucks, because it's one of their most brilliant songs yet
