I think we should just start and Juventino can play on a short clock if he feels he can get online at all whilst away. Is it OK if we start tomorrow and a set time, so that people are completely clear on the start time?

That said, I toyed with the idea of picking a totally different player, but might be too soon. I'll definitely won't get to him in the second round, though.

I would have picked the other one.

I had the first pick last year and I picked Messi but this time I would have picked the other one. The other one has won something major with his NT, won the league and UCL this season. Messi won nothing this season (had a great season though) and will never win anything with his National team.

It's a team sport. Messi is the best player both in terms of individual skill and in terms of making his teammates better (which is counter intuitive, but it's true). Messi's style involves bringing in his teammates; Ronaldo just runs onto through balls and crosses at this point.

Messi is invisible for Argentina when it matters the most.

I agree though, Messi is the better player and is younger too but it's personal preference. I will also be slightly biased because he was a Man Utd legend.

Ronaldo has always been invisible in big games for Portugal too. He was fucking hurt for the Final, he didn't even have the opportunity to choke against France.

Ronaldo is invisible in some Portugal games too but there is a huge difference in quality between Portugal and Argentina. It is harder to make things happen with a team like Portugal that doesn't even have a proper striker. Messi should be doing better for Argentina.
